I think either Trossard or Havertz should play up front today but it will more than likely be Nketiah.
Palace is interested in Eddie that has been confirmed from some sources now. I can't see Palace paying 30-35M for Eddie. And yes, we need to replace him adaquately or probably better.

The whole point is to replace Eddie and Arsenal are reported to have told Palace that Eddie will only be available after we have signed a replacement. So I don't see why we won't sell Eddie!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You actually think Arteta will buy a striker this jan?
He has had what 9 windows and he has persisted with jesus and Eddie
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't think he can dismiss the lack of goals compared to his nearest competitors. Only Saka is on pace to match or exceed his last year's totals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember when Auba went to Barca in Jan and Arteta failed to bring anyone in. Instead, relied on Eddie to get us top 4
The lack of goals arent only an issue upfront. Our midfielders also contributed massively to our goals number last season.
Virgil van Dijk is NOT in the Liverpool squad to face Arsenal today. [

Arsenal were not in the CL in those days.
Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Kiwior; Jorginho, Rice, Ødegaard; Saka, Nelson, Havertz.
Counter attack formation at home. Paying a lot of respect tbh

Zinny in the squad?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No
I reckon maybe because Kiwior is a worse left back compared to Zinchenko that's why we've gone a bit more defensive.
Why not start ESR? At least Nelson is given a chance

Because we are playing a different formation.
The defeats in a row. Arlarming signs.
Lots of (in my opinion) childish reactions on the match thread, not much productive or reasonable
Saka is one of highest paid players in the team but starting to put in regular horrendous performances week in week out.
To take another perspective, at least today we played much better than previous games. For Arsenal not to have a no 9 is pretty poor though, however bad we’ve been, we have had a guy score 20 at least
I am seriously worried about where we go from here. Why do we always have these clusters of defeats? It's never one or two bad results, there's always a relatively long stretch of poor games.
Just don't see how we get out of this rut we're in.
We played well for large parts of the game, but once Liverpool got the opener, I never had any belief we'd get back into the game and the players clearly didn't either.
