If you are committed to spending £90m, isn't it a better idea to spend it on a proven goal scorer?

I'd take him at £45m maybe, he does have big potential though

And plays in a very similar way to Kane. Big guy with a good touch type player, not just another lump up top.

I dont think he's an Arteta type signing tbf, will go Spurs or Man U

Arteta didn't sign auba.

Partey has only flopped because of injuries.

Havertz hasn't flopped.

Only big signing of artetas I can think of as flopping is Vieira so far. But I wouldn't be surprised if he does well from now, do think he was playing through injury. Hopefully that's sorted out.

Because he won us the FA Cup. And was by far and away our best player at a time when our reputation wasn't the best in terms of attracting new players. Context is key there.

Even if we're reaching and we add him to the list, it's Auba and Vieira? Not a bad record.

I'd only really call Vieira and Tavares a flop of all Arteta's signings (that cost more than a couple of million)

There's a few others who definitely havent been great value but overall we do well enough in the transfer market I would say.
