Every Chelsea winger last season was actually better than Madueke. The only one worse actually ended up on loan at Arsenal

These deals honestly take no time. No matter how many new Arsenal or Chelsea negotiators come in, out come is always Arsenal getting the worse deal

I’m hoping Arteta has signed him as back up for Saka. Get that depth in, he’s probably gone feck it. But then, why wouldn’t you get in Eze or Kudus?
Nelson wasn’t a bad back up, Sterling was awful. Madueke is better than both. Can he even play left side to replace Martinelli, who gets injured so often?

I do think Madueke is quite a good talent, however. Just not £50mill worth.
His ability to take people on is amongst the best around, no question on that.
But to say we were after Rodrygo, Eze and land with him is a blow.
