We are in April 2026 match 33. Arsenal play Man City at the Etihad. Arsenal are top 6 points clear of 2nd place Man City.
Close game which is 1-1 with 8 minutes added time . Point would be fine for Arsenal.
Nørgaard on the ball in the 97th minute, he's 25 yards out. He takes an ambitious shot but scores! That could be the goal that realistically shatters Man Citys title dreams and wins the title for Arsenal. Can you believe it!

That would be a horrific window.

As for Rodrygo, the guy is so overrated.

Not paid much attention to transfer news of late or football in general, only to open the Beeb today and find out we're about signing Madueke. And for like £52m to £55m. What an absolutely reetarded club and what an absolute gift to Chelsea we are, helping them balance the books how many times, by grabbing their castaways for top dollar.

From Rodrygo and Eze to facking Madueke.
I'm sure many of us are going to be desperately poring through the stats to convince ourselves about how this is actually a prudent move, but I can assure you that your eyes haven't deceived you watching Madueke and he really is an average player. We've sold better players than him like Iwobi and more recently Smith Rowe and
didn't miss them. This guy isn't even better than a fit Nelson.

Stupid facking club.

Chelsea got the better deal signing Joao Pedro for similar. Hell, I'd rather have got Kudus that Spurs just bought for a similar price.

When do we ever sign players from Chelsea that either elevate the team or at the very least contribute? I think Havertz on the field is the only exception, and Jorg was more for dressing room.

All I can delude myself with is that the club are so confident of what they're cooking up that they don't care about the backlash to this deal.

But after the Partey thing and now this, maybe the club just don't have a clue what they're doing.
