Madrid maybe selling some of their stars due to ego issues.
Mbappe and Vini may become available, in that case Arsenal have to try and go for Vini. That singing alone would push us over the line.

I do think Madueke is quite a good talent, however. Just not £50mill worth.
His ability to take people on is amongst the best around, no question on that.
But to say we were after Rodrygo, Eze and land with him is a blow.

There is no logic behind this signing

It's clearly some funny business going on between KSE and Clearlake.

Haggling over 5m euros for Gyokeres and Mosquera yet we've just gone straight in with 50m quid for Madueke?

I'll get behind him on the pitch but this goes beyond underwhelming into maddening and has me going from giving the heirachy the benefit of the doubt to believing they don't have a clue what they're doing.

Well maybe we should spend a little more time working on the details for that move than putting together a lucrative offer for Chelsea to take advantage of.

I just don't get the logic behind making such convoluted offers for important players that they take a month to hash out, while making such a strong offer for a player we don't need that it's immediately accepted.

Never any logic behind these Chelsea deals. Just business

I don't even know why we were even beginning to explore this as an option yet. He's got a month off now so it's not like we're rushing to get him in with the squad.

We should be working our way through a comprehensive list of far better options before we even get to this point, not racing out the blocks to sign Madueke.

Madueke could've waited, we needed to get Eze and the striker in. This is so depressing
