Saka played injured. Rice injured in the game. Saliba also nursing hammy like Gabby. So they can't be allowed to play for me.

Martinelli will be alright - its just a question if he starts wide or up front. Merino, Mosq, Hancapie all start for me and because its Brighton Gyokeres won't be getting rest imo. Havertz, expected back in Nov and Jesus/Ode in Dec.

Berta was so right to boost the squad rather than spunking £120m+ on Isak.

I read Madueke can come back before the break.

Madueke is back in training on grass. So should be nearest to full recovery.

think as well that VG will play on Wednesday. I dont know how exhausted he is atm as he puts a shift in every game.

What was a little worrying was how we lost control in midfield after Saka was subbed. We need our attackers to put their foot on the ball and allow the midfield to see out the game.

Apparently we are 17th in open play goals.
