It will be even more difficult for the bench players to get up to speed in case of an injury if you don't use them. Its a minor cup and we are at home.

Mosq, Norgaard, Skelly, Eze, Merino, Marti, Gyok have all played recently.

Sick of Brighton fans enjoying their trips to the Emirates tho

Saliba, Gabriel, Cala, Rice, Saka were all injury doubts last weekend. It will be utterly silly to risk them for the League Cup tbh. Norgaard is used to the prem so should fill in easily for Zubi.

In a way, they all need a week off. So does Gyokeres. But I expect he will get plenty of rest when Havertz comes back, so Arteta might ride him hard for a few more weeks.

Thats good tbh. Only thing is Arteta wants that left no.8 to defend at times as well. Brighton are good countering middle of the pitch and Merino is more disciplined than Eze imo. Eze played counter in the middle at Palace and not box to box.

Eze and Odegaard midfield could be the ultimate imo. Rice won't like it.
