Two Luis Suarez's

No you've contradicted yourself. A couple of days ago you claimed Suarez gets attention because 'he does it more than anyone else'. This evening you've said 'it doesn't matter how's my times he does it'. You've also acknowledged plenty of players exaggerate contact. So why does Suarez get attention on this front if 'it doesn't matter how many times he does it' and 'plenty of other players do it'?

"why change the criteria? because tottenham fans would argue that 3 of those were unfair because there was clear contact and it is therefore exagerrating contact like suarez does every game."

In other words because it suits your argument. Bale dives more than Suarez. Suarez can't be labelled a diver, based on one dive this season. Simple.

"suarez gets more attention because people see more as a combination of cheating, violence, dissent, diving etc etc."

Let's break this down.

'Cheating' - he does this no more than the majority of players. Remember the amount doesn't matter. Why add this to the list if its common place?

'Violence' - 5 acts of petulance in 91 games. He's never been booked or banned. Other players have.

'Dissent' - Again no more than Rooney, for example, or many many other players that disagree with a decision. It's common place in the hand, why single Suarez out, and add it to the list?

'Diving'- he's dived once this season. Bale by comparison has been booked 4 times, and even banned. Why add diving to the list?

See what I'm getting at? 3 of the things on your list most players do and it's a game wide problem. It's not specific to Luis Suarez.

"why would things get magnified for suarez but not for anyone else? it makes no sense."

Why would things be magnified for Ronaldo, when he played in England, even when he cleaned up his act a bit?

wow you are still asking that question?

he gets more attention because unlike others it isn't just the cheating.

how are you not understanding that?

you keep separating cheating, violence, dissent etc. thats your mistake.

put them altogether.

most players do one of them but few players do all of them.

as i said. take bale as an example. bale gets some stick for cheating. suarez gets more stick because he cheats and he is violent, dissenting etc.

got it yet?

the criticism ronaldo got was in proportion to his behaviour at all times in my opinion

Red man makes some very good points about the attenion Suarez gets over other players!!! The reason i think is when Suarez came over here he had a bit of history and the press are lazy, so its easy for them to focus on one man knowing full well most of the nation will read and listen to their over the top coverage and say look what he's done again, were if we all stop for a minute and really think about it the press/media have sucked us in, im big enough to admit it!! Are you???

red666 so because you have a different opinion i have to admit that you are right?

give it a rest. red man has continually missed my point as explained above.

the idea that the media have hand picked suarez as someone to focus on is a joke. the idea that fans have then bought into it is also a joke.

fans at games give it as they see it. suarez riles fans up more than most other players and the reason for that is not what was on the back page that morning.

wow you are still asking that question?

Yeah, because you won't answer it directly. It's a pretty simple yes or no answer.

Dr S

Raj doesn't like questions. He claimed to know a World Cup linesman, who officiated at an actual World Cup match, this was later changed to a qualifier. When asked details he evaded. When asked which match, he disappeared.

I wouldn't hold out for an answer.

He also knows a player who played at the World Cup. He doesn't like to name drop though.

Raj - more deflecting than you'd see in a Frank Lampard themed pinball machine.

So kids what have we learnt? If ever you want to rid yourself of a Raj, all you have to do is ask a question.

Was the footballer called Ars Bandeet, believe or not he really was a footballer.

Yeah, as discussed earlier, Raj's assistant he knows who assistant at the World Cu...er sorry the World Cup qualifiers was called Ifib Alot. He's a well known Saudi Arabian assistant referee.

The player he knows is Ima Fullosheet, who played for Chechnya in the round before the first qualifying round.

red man i disappeared?

no. i logged off. you should try it sometime. you might meet someone interesting, like a linesman.

heres some more education for you. the world cup qualifiers and the world cup finals are all part of the world cup.

if you assumed i meant the world cup finals then thats your fault.

interesting you chose to raise it on this thread. i guess we can now watch you try to twist things to avoid admitting being wrong.

unlucky red man.
