Yes, this is a new requirement you have to pass in order to gain Indefinite Leave to Remain, which is the second or in some cases third visa you are granted. I tried it and failed.

You aren't the only one mate, no one could possibly know all of the answers to it. Some of the questions are just ridiculous. I think I scored around 45% or so when I took it, and I only actually knew a handful of the answers.

Don't be in any doubt, you'd fail it miserably, that is to say that the foreigners who have passed it, know more about the country than you do.

The benefits culture is out of control to be honest. From my experience anyway, people claim all sorts, disability allowance when they can actually work, they keep on having kids, therefore more benefits for them, housing benefit. People manipulate their own situations to claim more money such as claiming they're a single parent living alone when in fact they're not so they get more benefits, or people manipulate their income, understate it to recieve more tax credits. It is ridiculous you see these people with top of the range TV's in their house, nice flashy car, eating out everyday of the week. Whereas someone earning money, paying tax, council tax, vat, and any other tax is living like a pauper trying to get by. Something should be done about this

Its not just immigrants who abuse that system. English people do it too. Why not though, if the system is screwed, milk it for all you can until they realise what's wrong with it.

Greatteams, I work in an accountants, I know what people do to get more benefits. Not saying its everyone, just saying that people do abuse it.

Many no doubt came for that, many planned to make money, work for ten years, exchange it with the great exchange rate the pound was sitting at, then buy a house back home.

If you're an EU member you can as the EU Directive means that any member of an EU state can live and work in any EU country with the same rights as its citizens.

I got you were only doing it for "fun", some of the questions are odd. They have things like "usual" and "favourite" in them, not exactly facts.

There is one asking where the traditions of Christmas originated and even experts can't agree on that one.

There were some about the amount of parliamentary constituencies in the country. Who the feck knows that...
