Just tuned in, saw the stats on the screen at the mid session interval and they were almost even yet Hawkins was 8-4 up!
Ding manages to get a frame back for 5-8. But he missed an unbelievable blue off its spot - I've never seen him miss so many easy balls.
Trump got Murphy in trouble with 4 reds left. I think that match was always going to be played at a good pace.
Lewandowski really is earning his keep tonight. Getting a bit of a kicking from Real. Think there might be a red card coming up....
It'll be frustrating Ding the amount of easy balls he seems to be missing, especially in the last few days. Don't think he's been at it recently.
Is it still 8-6 to Murphy?
Murphy messed that right up
Gutted I missed the Ronnie session earlier, sounds like he was playing some incredible snooker. Might catch it on iPlayer later.
8bit - yeah he really was. 7-0 up think Bingham was just happy to get a frame on the board in the end. Could be over tomorrow morning. Hope it carries on until tomorrow evening when I can watch it.
Trump pulls another one back for 7-8. He would have taken 7-9 behind before this evening started, but I reckon with the momentum he's got, he'll be disappointed if he doesn't make it 8-8.
It'll make for a great final session if Trump can make it 8-8.
Hawkins leading 8-6 but it really should be 9-5, could be a turning point.
Haha, I knew Dortmund would make it no problem...................
Trump in ascendency in final frame. Ding pulls another one back to make it 6-8. He's not on it at all, and Hawkins should have cleared, but whereas Ding looks out of form, I think Hawkins is feeling the pressure already that he should almost be away and gone.
Trump looks a lot more serious than the last couple of years at the Crucible, concentrating a lot more and picking his shots better.
Judd level from 7-2 down at one stage. Class to turn it around - game on in that one.
Great fightback from Trump to make it 8-8, winning 5 on the trot. Neither Hawkins or Ding looks capable of stringing a decent break together, frames a bit scrappy and balls running awkwardly.
Commentators rustling up a little fuss over how Hawkins "drags" his fingers over the cloth when coming up from playing a shot. So?
Hawkins goes 9-6 as Ding makes more mistakes. Next frame massive and Ding needs it badly. It's funny, I'm sure Hawkins would have taken 4-4 for tonight's session, but having seen how Ding has played, to come out 4-4 of the evening session will be disappointing.
Hawkins will lead going into tomorrow now, massive frame for Ding. Difference between two frames behind to four will be too great for a comeback I reckon.
Ding never looked comfortable during that break, but showed great resolve to get enough to clinch the frame. Make no bones about it, Ding played poorly tonight, and Hawkins may regret not taking advantage. You would expect Ding to play better tomorrow - I just wonder how well Hawkins will cope under the pressure, because he should have taken advantage tonight.
Hopefully Ding will play better tomorrow. I'm confident he will turn things around Trump vs Murphy will be a cracking final session.
Morning all
Hopefully catch the first bit of Ronnie against Bingham this morning. Will definitely be able to watch tonight if that match even gets that far!
I'll be back to catch the end of Murphy v Trump as well. Looking forward to that match the most today.
I'll be watching them all, will have them on the background on one of the multiple monitors I have. Will probably listen to the Ronnie match commentary though.
I'm hoping for a Ding comeback!
Can Bingham take it to a third session? The more I watch Ronnie this year the more I think he can win it again.
