I kinda guessed as much...
I wouldn't even put him as our top defender.
But thats opinions for you i suppose.

Sandro was playing great, but, as you say, he missed the 2nd half so...
Dembele 1st half of the season would have got it too, but his performances dropped (injury?)
Lloris wouldn't be 2nd for me, nothing absolutely exceptional from him, just solid displays.
Lennon and Defoe weren't anything special at all
Edin,
Me and Chronic post at the same time with total opposite opinions - i just thought it was funny .
O come on fellas, if we had won the Fulham game we would have made the CL and the players were on their knees during that game. Lets not forget that Lennons injury was picked up in the Europa when we were 3 nil up!!
We can talk about CBs and strikers all we like but the over emphasis on a flawed competition (2 CL teams in the final) cost us dearly. I hope next season the fringe and youth team players represent us infront of the 25k in the Lane, that way the top boys can get on with trying to get back into the CL.
Arteta (say it in a northen accent)
@analog
haha fair enough buddy!
I based myopinion on the fact we have a tendency to get the ball to bale so he therefore becomes the creativity in the side.
dembele is a converted striker so he will be able to push on and find space and vert has this canny ability to ghost into space.
Did not include transfers as they are yet to happen.
Did not include transfers as they are yet to happen.
Without sounding negative (which It may come across that way)
But in reality I think we will sign maybe 2 players, at best, I can't see us getting too much in, maybe a wide man and striker, that's it'
Hope some of the young lads get a chance this season

Oh right Chicken
Lennon was so class pre-Febuary Analog re-reminded me why he is one of my favourite Spurs players.
Look like entitled to your opinion mate
Tbh a top striker and a top midfielder might be enough
Didn't Shaq get a pro contract recently? Pritch has done well this season, some of the Posh fans I know said he was good in teh few games he played

Lennon was his standard self last season. Good, but unspectacular, I don't think he'll reach the heights of the 2009/10 season again
Edin,
I think that is the general pattern to Lennon's season. He always seems to start off really lively, creating, chipping in with the odd goal, looking really dangerous - then as the season goes on he starts putting the brakes on a bit, and not being very effective at all.
In saying that, he does genearlly have to cope with doubling up, so its not too much of a criticism.
@thudd
Prichard is going back out on loan for the season from what I understand.
generally - not genearlly
depending on who we buy i think lennon may struggle to be a regular next season.
I would have thought he might go out again, like Townsend and Adam Smith, lower league working upto Premier League
Dawkins struggled to make an impact at Villa
It seems crazy that Lennon is only (just) 26.
Then again, he's been with us since he was 17 and must be due a testimonial soon.
If we stick with 4231, Lennon will start.
If we switch to a 433, he's in trouble
Lennon needs only 15 more appearances to have played more games for us than King and Campbell. Crazy.
