I watched the Mortal Kombat movie at the weekend. I say I watched it, but rather, wifefrom went to work overnight, toddlerfrom was in bed, I had a sh!t load of really nice beers, ordered a pizza, inhaled it, and then woke up at about 3 am.

Mortal Kombat is legendary.

Just read a stat that Utd haven't played anyone in the top 11 this season while we have played 5 out 7 games against the top 11 sides.

I know they are on fire right now and our team are usually poor after international break with our 3 main key players playing on the other side of the world before the game but I really think we could upset the mancs in the next game.

They all got cocky last season at this stage and I know they have a better team now but it would be great to be the first team to beat them this season and give other teams the incentive not to bend over for them

Yeah...October will give us a better indication of where they're at.

Confidence is high though, while ours...not so much.

What better way to raise confidence by beating that lot. I do worry about these games without a Gerrard or Carra. I reckon most of our players will just see it as another game and not understand that rivalry.

Our defence will dangle a carrot for Maureen but I still expect him to park the bus and look to hit us on the counter of set pieces. Rashford with the dead ball worries me cos he is really fizzes those free kicks in while we struggle to beat the first man.

I still expect us to raise our game for this match. Like tbone has said all United have done is minnow bash.

Easy game for me. They'll look to park the bus and hoof it to Lukaku and Fellaini. We'll get the break through then they'll have to come out. I see a thrashing which will knock them back down to earth. Everton would be top with the fixtures United have had ffs.

I took it a bit too far but you get my point!

I do, but not sure about "easy game" I don't have any confidence in us being able to stop them (or anyone else) scoring against us at the moment, and I really hope De Gea has an off day.

Pogba being out works against us

De Gea gets them about 15 points a season. The amount of games I have seen him make outstanding saves is unreal.

City have a top top keeper now as well.

I also think Klopp will be wise to play Can as the deepest midfielder to counter those long balls with Fellaini.

I read a stat somewhere that Can has the second highest win % for aerial duels.

No doubt Maureen will tell Fellaini to position himself on our left so he can have the mismatch with Moreno.
