What do you reckon of the Balotelli signing? You do like a risk! I'm thinking a draw tonight and expecting Rogers to play a lot more compact than last seasons match ups.

I hope we go for the throat straight from the off, worked well last time! I'm actually quietly optimistic Ballotelli will be a success. Has similarities with Sturridge in that it's probably his last chance, and Rodgers seems to thrive under the challenge of managing this type of player.

You have the firepower still, will be interesting how influential Gerrard will be, looked a bit off the pace recently.
Balotelli is one of those players you want playing for your club cos you know how much he winds up the opposition supporters much like Mr Suarez, Terry, Cantona etc . Gonna be a season to remember. Wumming aside, have a good one, catch you on the multi board threads

City have such a wealth of striking talent it's insane, our best chance is to start with a really fast tempo (unlikely though being so early in the season) and try to score first, then sit in and hit them on the counter.

Hope to see Markovic at some point his pace on the counter late on could be a bonus.

Hard to see past a city win though, despite playing pretty well in our last 2 visits we only managed 1 point
