It may even be the making of the Tories getting away from Londoncentric policies
____________________________________
I used to argue that point on here. Scotland used to vote Tory about 50 years ago but now they're entirely unelectable. Even though it's not something I'd vote for, I'd still like to see a decent right of centre party emerge in Scotland that wasn't hampered by being tarred with the WM Tories.
Do you think Ireland would be better off in the UK?
Do you think any Irish citizens would give up their independence to rejoin the UK?
Your argument against PR is strange. As far as I know, the UK is the only country in the EU that elects its parliament via a non-PR method. MMP seems to work pretty well for Germany.
And whilst I wouldn't condone the abuse thrown at Murphy, he's been fishing for that sort of reaction for a long time. Shame somebody gave it to him.
No, we would once independent vote for our own politicians.
The ones that come home from doing such a great job in Westminster?
a poorer credit rating" Perhaps to start off with, but then that is up to us to perform.
Relying on the MP's that led us into the recent fiasco?
No EU membership isnt Hogwash, its a fact, no EU with the Euro, their rule.
The currency thing, living in London that seem to be the main thing that my colleagues have latched onto, nearly 90% of them are saying 'no chance, you're independant, be independant' its that mindset that will back the Brit negotiators.
Defend against the Chinese , or the Icelanders when they steal our fish or the English when they try and steal our oil (which they will)
It's not scaremongering it's me desperate to hear the facts.
We will need to fkn get companies in after seeing the list if companies expressing concern about whether they would continue in Scotland in the event of independence.
We will all need to be fisherman or oil workers at this rate

Why else does anyone think that high employing services such as call centres are all located in Scotland or South wales?

Low skilled jobs for a low skilled workforce happy to work for a low wage?

It's not about being able to cope or having a low opinion of Scotland, it's about whats better for those those that follow us. Having lived in an independent Ireland for a decade, I see why their emigration rate is so high, the unemployment levels, the cliques, the domination by like-minded thinkers in the media, the nepotism., the low-tax economy that was closer to Boston than Brussels, the shambles of their public services and the massive increase in drug gangs killing someone every other day.
The treatment of Murphy because he has a differing opinion is a taste of what could come, rather than using logical argument, they heckle and call him a Quisling, now it could be fair to call them a minority, but in any PR government minorities hold a lot of power.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The treatment of Murphy is what the fkr deserves for being a Labour rottweiler. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if it came out that he was deliberately pushed out to wind Yes voters up by shouting p!sh at them.
Here's a lovely pic of him in action, bawling at a wee granny:

He's a corrupt, nasty bawsack
Is he a Quisling for having a different opinion to the rabble?
Many of those companies also campaigned against Scotland getting a devolved parliament.
Remember the mass exodus of companies after we voted for the Scottish Parliament?
No, me neither.
Pointy - I'd take the oil worker job, kants get a fortune
Rats
It was an aside to my experience in Ireland, but you carry on with the defamation of Murphy, a guy who's probably going to get a top job once Edinburgh becomes a proper capital.

Totally diff situations tho.
For instance, there may need to be border controls in an independent scotland with Scotland's planned liberal immigration policy
Treatment of Murphy shows my earlier point regards being an intolerant country should independence go thru

There isn't a plan for a liberal immigration policy.
They will flee if it doesn't suit.
Too big a gamble for me personally

No chance whatsoever. He's hated by too many people.
All the hooha about one egg is seriously OTT anyway, especially when Salmond and Sillars have received death threats, the Brittania guy punched a woman while spewing his vile p!sh in Glasgow, a Yes shop suffered an arson attack. Yet it's all about Murphy and the egg
Hobo - you sure?
I'm sure I seen baw face discussing it
