If we're going for a signing of this calibre (which I wouldn't be completely against) I wouldn't mind seeing montero

i prefer Mahrez to Montero tbh Bloodred, hes a better footballer, i like Mane, he scores goals, very quick and can play either side

Mahrez is a very good shout too.

Mane got 10 goals in the prem last season in his first year in english football, scope to improve as he's only young too

Mane is a very good player but very inconsistent. Be interesting to see how he handles the step up. Can't see saints letting him go so soon after joining.

Mane is a very good player. Can be either side and through the middle. Creates a lot of chance although his end product looks like it could be a bit better. Lightening too. I would be somewhat happy with this signing.

Robb would like this I imagine.

Agree. Montero reminds me of Valencia at his best, only quicker, shorter (weaker) and trickier.

good god. were not even trying to compete with chelsea and city. shame.

Usually, you can tell when a player is gonna be a top top player by 21. very rare cases where that isnt the case

Hmmm he's definitely not a nothing player. You can't have seen much of Southampton to say that. He's was one of the best players for very good Southampton team last year. 10 goals in 31 appearances in your first year playing in the EPL and not as a striker is a decent return. He also had one in two for his team before that. Still only 23. I think it would be worth the gamble,

Mane's a decent player and would add a new dimension but I'm not sure he's the standard we need to push up the level of our first 11, which is something we need.

would have to depend on the price for me, 15-18m would be decent business, he's better than Young, not sure if he's got what it takes to be a world beater

If we are linked to Mane, we should be linked with Berahino too. Expecting us to hear something about that within a couple of days.
