Usually i'm too busy with my work, but been finishing stuff early, so i've been kicking back taking in a couple Eps a night.

I was a bit drunk and acted like a 12 year old girl. But it certainly got me a wee bit wet. sets up the tone for the last few episodes nicely.

Been happy with most everything, including rebels. It was a brilliant series, just an odd way to finish. Not really what I was anticipating and on first viewing on not sure it worked for me,

Saying that, confirmation that Rex is the older Rebel from the Battle of Endor is pretty cool

How did you think it would end?

After all Star Wars is all about hope and rebels has always been about this small group winning when odds were firmly against them.

With less space whales.

I fully anticipated that they'd defeat the empire on Lothal, like you say, that fits the narrative of the story. Just didn't expect such a happy ending for most everyone, nor did I think we'd see Ashoka seemingly resurrected. That I found to be a huge cop out.

Cop out on what way?

It’s not the first time we’ve seen the purrgil help out and that fits in with the Ezra ability to connect with animals.

The ending with Sabine & Ashoka leaves a good opportunity to have a follow on series with them trying to find Ezra as it’ll fit between ROTJ & TFA.

A cop out in that they introduced time travel to the universe to seemingly bring back a popular chsrachter from the dead so as Disney can milk her for all shes worth.

So they can’t introduce new things into the Star Wars universe?

Tbh we’ve had very little knowledge to what goes on inside Jedi/sith temples.

I haven't seen Rebels for a while but the idea of time travel is silly. Why couldn't a Jedi time travel back and stop Anakin training as a Jedi for example

No, I made it pretty clear a few posts prior to you deciding to ignore that and start to make a bunch of assumptions.

Bringing back Ashoka to my mind serves no purpose other than a money grab.

Its a world between worlds hidden inside a temple thus not meaning anyone at anytime can go to another place.

At the end of the episode the temple is destroyed anyway.

It’s actually a wonderful episode with lots of nods to the OT.
