IE-I think it was an odd statement to make because I can't see why he was sacked. But, again, it's not me that's said it, it's Smith himself that's been quoted as saying it. Considering the warnings the judge has made over this case, I doubt anyone would misquote something said in this case. As per with you though, you can't see past 'aye bit it's a tim that's said it'.
