Absolutely blame the board.

100% banged to rights they are.

They appointed the wrong guy last time and slaughtered him and his team the minute they'd got rid.

They heralded in this new unheard of character and lauded his every word whilst throwing in many of their own. They borrowed and gave him millions to do with what he wanted. All this because he gave a great interview even although he said the club was just a stepping stone.

Absolutely blame the board. Just as we did when they tried to take the cheap option with Deila.

It is harsh to blame the board to be honest. They aren't responsible for last night. They might be responsible for making the wrong choice of Manager but I don't know many boards at clubs who don't get some wrong on that front.

They couldn't have done more in recent months or backed the Manager any better. It is 100% an issue on the playing front.
----------------------------------------------------------------------Our board took a fookin ridiculous punt with this guy.If they is going to appoint an unknown then they'd better be pretty sure that he at least has a plan.WTF did he tell them his plan was
what are his targets
Does he have targets(other than on his back)
Fookin terrible appt. and the longer they wait the worse itll be
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If the guy has/had a good track record then I can understand a board backing him. But when it is a punt as this was (and i think he was brought in due to his contacts and players he would be able to bring in) then with punts you have to be willing to cut your losses if it doesnt work out as their is no evidence to suggest that it will work.

IMO he is a far poorer manager than Warburton who I would have back in heartbeat instead of Pedro

see tbh, the truth is your going to have to pay a bit of money to get a decent manager.

right now i reckon mcinnes is the best you could get as a cheap option

i'll never understand why rangers didnt hold out till summer and see who became available - alec neil for example.

Alex Neil woulda been my choice but he is now away to Preston, i think he got a bit of a raw deal at Norwich

posted on 5/7/17

i read a piece on neil that when he took the norwich job from hamilton he went in and said he wanted total control on running football side of the club. thats what o'neil used to do.

to go from hamilton to an interview for a bigger club in norwich and make such demands is ballsy.

also think its what rangers need.

can u imagine neil banning green boots.

honestly, thats a pure idiot approach to management, who gives a f... what colour the boots are

Alex Salmond's lookin for a gig.
I couldn't criticise him when they signed him cos i knew fook all about him.I think it became very obvious very soon he was a fookin loonball(Fifa term)The only way is down.We as a fanbase really need to become more proactive with this board and their shortcomings
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Zach I made the point to Curly when he was appointed that I thought it as a huge gamble and I was honestly very surprised that even with all the guff at Rangers the last few years they were not able to entice a more well known manager into the hot seat at Ibrox.

If we were performing on the park then the green boots remark and rule woulda been lapped up by the fans and created a bond with the gaffer. However as this is not the case the fans are thinking, you got more on your plate than boot colours pal !

i could see why they appointed a foreign coach tbh, mexico is a fairly untapped market.

rangers dont have much of a scouting system, so by appointing a foreign coach it opens other avenues i suppose.

i think regardless its stupid del.

honestly, its not even close to a good idea in this country, it encourages divide and i think we have enough of that.

Real Madrid?

Ronaldo wears navy and red boots all the time

As for Chelsea, there'd be no boots left if they banned rivals colours for a London club

Must be Red, white, navy, black & claret.

Must be a tough time for their players to find suitable boots.
