Disappointed to see STWN post that. I always thought they seemed reasonable, but they have resorted to the 'everyone who disagrees with me is woke' stuff. Maybe I misremembered.

imo that is a very slack and nonsensical approach to not reorganising the countries finances.

Are you hand on heart ready to publicly state you are happy with the state of our countries finances & economy, and the myriad of broken institutions & disfunction that the UK population has to deal with everyday.

You wouldn't want to be sick and relying upon the NHS or even the ambulance service.

You wouldn't want be on (Insufferables) Edinburgh's housing waiting list where he admitted that there are 22000 people on the list and its increasing with only aprx a 1000 property vacancies per year. That means if you are young family waiting for a home your going to wait 22 years plus.( anyone who cant see that a a problems possibly needs some therapy)

Are you really going say these reasons are not enough to not expect a full audit & revaluation of why & how the UK government is spending the tax take.

This country is throwing away money hand over fist on causes which will no material effect in our life time & your against a root & branch re-evaluation of what, why & how this government is spending our taxes.

First you didnt respond to my questioning of your State of feeling regarding the UK populations suffering due to the chronic condition of our countries infrastructure.

I have made no strawman suppersition of you or your opinions, but your failure to give a valid response and then a bunch of poor remarks does put you in an unfavourable light, imo, but if do state your views and your position will in the public domain, thats your stuff, not mine.

No regarding my position it is very simple and clear to understand.

I feel we should have a full analysis of our countries spending & economy ( dodg style, but not as the Americans have done it , but true to the sentiment of it in terms of allowing the government to re-evaluate its priorities to fix our country & give the country the quality of services our tax money should provide.

We should stop wasting money of all agendas that will not provide a material benefit in the next ? 5 years, inclusive of all questionable NETT Zero & Green agendas. We should once and for all stop the illegal immigration crisis which is wasting 10s of millions per year that would be better spent on our population.

Imo that is a very clear and easy to understand view to take.

When the Tories were in charge there was plenty of GB politics getting discussed on here as most on this forum wanted them out.

However since Starmer got in conversations about what's going on the UK have become rare as those who voted for him don't want to chat about what a poor job he's doing.
