Can try to sort something for you if you're willing to work outside Europe. Minimum of 5 years of exhausting work but you'll be set for life after that and can settle down wherever you want in the world.

I’d love to leave this country but family has me tied down here and my wife would never leave her parents either, hopefully in the future we’ll see

I do my utmost to avoid taxis in London to be honest. Paying silly money to listen to some rseholes view of the world while I travel at 3mph isn’t for me.
