well I'm not really.
I am but I'm not.
Not saying it's right for the UK, but I do think that democratic systems are deeply problematic, and that non democratic systems can work well.

Jamal Khashoggi wants a word from the afterlife.

I could say the same about the 100s of 1000s who've been killed by American foreign policy, that's made pot loads for the elite.

Elites like kings and presidents?

Old Winston once said "No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."

Doesn't mean he was right.

And democracy is completely different to what it was in his day.

Churchill the monarchist agreed with you.

I know we're just chewing the fat, Churchill was just saying it's the best of a bad lot because there are so many problems with your proposal, not least the hundreds of years where we have already tried it.

Change the voting system, change party funding, improve the standard of MP, change is possible in a democracy it isn't reliant on the whim of an autocrat.

Just in the words you've cited, he's saying it's the best system of governance that's ever been devised.
So he doesn't agree with me.

Getting really quite bored with the vulnerable people forced into hotels being called migrants and illegal immigrants. That cuuuuuuuuunt Farage was bang at it again yesterday and the mouth breathers lap it up.

I really wish that letterbox-mouth had an off-switch, just for him to shut the F up.

In December 2024, five months after an initial warning from Dutch intelligence, Lieutenant Cayley, a former military prosecutor, received a direct threat:

"I was directly threatened, and I was told that I was an enemy of the state of Israel and I needed to watch my back."

Indeed. He said 99% have their claim approved too, which is simply a blatant lie,

I honestly don’t know how it’s legal for an MP to just repeatedly lie to the public. This is why I feel they should be licensed.

He followed it up with that they’re ‘probably’ going to deal drugs.

I remember when I shared photos of what was left of Rafah (nothing) and people on here started saying the pictures weren’t real.

Using misinformation and outright fabrications to deliberately engineer hate - a dangerous, violent hatred to be specifically focused towards arguably the most vulnerable, traumatised, underprivileged, and voiceless people in the country - for nothing more than personal financial ends is a far worse evil than the kind of blind, ill-educated and unthinking bigotry that you see across Facebook (and on here from time to time, sadly).

He's a truly disgusting animal.

I saw that interview on a random ITV reel and took a look at the comments.

Overwhelming support for that lying, race baiting, hypocritical piece of sh!t (I’m minded that they are more likely to a) see the post b) be motivated to comment) but it made me so sad.

If people were actually making an informed opinion, I’d actually be more appreciative of their stance, but you only have to look at how many on even here think they’re illegal immigrants and that it’s illegal to come here etc.

I’ve been listening to the Dictators podcast on BBC Sounds (highly recommend and also available on Spotify) and have just listen to the one on Hitler.

What got him into power is the EXACT same way Farage used to going about it. Straight out of the Goebels playbook and some people just lap it up.

25,000 asylum seekers have arrived in the UK this year so far.

That’s 0.0357% of the population and only 47% of those claims have been approved.

WHAT ON EARTH ARE WE GOING TO DO?!?!

A friend of mine has been radicalised by Farage’s lies and hate. He genuinely asked me if I wanted to go on a Tommy Robinson march with him. It’s actually really upsetting what’s happened to him because of these scuuum bags.
