Neymar has done more diving than Tom Daley what a total winker he is

posted on 6/7/18

He is gem

Commentators have just said anyone asking for VAR is a

They need to implement this as it's Ridiculous

Belgium just dodged a bullet there though. Kompany gave away a clear pen, VAR said no

Bye bye Brazil.
Once again the one man does not make a team mantra is proven. Messi, Saurez and now Neymar have all gone. This is a team game and Belgium have one hell of a team. Surely now they have to be favourites for the cup?

They and France look the most complete

I think Belgium look weak at the back to be honest. They have some great players going forward, but Witsel and Fellaini can’t control the pace of a game in midfield and Martinez still can’t organise a defence. On another day, Brazil would have won that game; they were much better but just didn’t click on the final third.

I expect France to beat Belgium in the semi finals.

Yeah think France will do Belgium and who knows in the other half of the draw, England and Croatia in the semi i would imagine and then who knows, Croatia the much much better midfield but England the better threat going forward, dead balls etc.

Only European teams left now and I’m not sure that would be the case if the South Americans spent less time trying to con the referees by diving, feigning injuries and grappling rather than defending.

The Belgium v France game is a tight one to call but whoever wins that will be favourites to win the final. England have met and maybe exceeded expectations so far and have every chance against Sweden who are solid but don’t have many goals in them, and Croatia who have better midfield players than England but might not overall be as good.

Been an entertaining tournament though with only a handful of games not worth watching

Good to see that Will Norris has signed a new contract with Wolves. Thought he was unlucky not to get more first team chances last season after doing so well in the Carabao Cup and with Ruddy looking dodgy in a lot of games mid season

Left out of the Wolves squad in Switzerland pending probable transfers or loans are Ofuso-Ayeh, Gladon, Iorfa, Zyro, Graham, Oniangue, Ebanks-Landell, Ronan

posted on 7/7/18

No real surprises there although I had hoped to see Ofosu-Ayeh come into the squad and show us what he had to make Wolves want to buy him.

posted on 7/7/18

Sad to see players like Ronan and Iorfa seemingly falling by the wayside. Shows how difficult it is to break through from youth to established first team

posted on 7/7/18

What's Connor Ronan done wrong ? On the verge of the first team and now not even pre season, not up to Nuno standard, injured perhaps.

posted on 7/7/18

Sadly it looks as though Ronan's 'size' is more of an issue than we first thought, he clearly has the ability.

Would like to think he will get a loan rather than us selling him but his loan last year didn't go as planned.

Tis a shame for the lad Cinci.

posted on 7/7/18

It really is, looks a class act but you have to ask why he couldn't get 90 mins(only 3 times) each week in week out in league one last season.

The fans liked him apparently

Wolves flag right behind Pickford’s goal in the first half. Gornal Wolves I think

Wolves have arranged an extra, behind closed doors, friendly for today at 17:30 against Neuchatel Xamax

Is that clown Sterling ever going to score again for England. What a miss.

posted on 7/7/18

I wouldn't worry, just lump it into the box all day, you will score

8 of 10 goals have come from dead ball situations so far and another was Kanes deflected goal, it ain't football but it is effective.

posted on 7/7/18

Don't understand the grief Stirling gets to be honest, he may miss a few but he also makes things happen with his pace at times and nobody else would have even been on the end of those balls

posted on 7/7/18

Much better second half, pretty much controlled that game from the goal onwards.

Croatia or Russia up next, both very beatable.

posted on 7/7/18

Hope we play Croatia so the Russian knuckle draggers can kick the shat out of the Croation fans when they lose and leave our guys alone.

Not a fan of Sterling myself. I think he is the Eno Bakhare of international football - all fancy footwork with little end product.
Today though he did a brilliant job and caused Sweden's defence so many problems. If we had another couple of players with Sterling's pace bothe Sterling and the team would score more goals. Kane, Lingard and Alli just can't break at the same speed as Sterling.
