Contrary to all the reports over the weekend, a deal for Harry Maguire is not yet agreed and may not be agreed

And yet you wrote a full article on the "rumours"
£80 million is hilarious, £90 million is absolute bonkers
I've always got the impression that Maguire would be entirely open to a move to Man Utd, the question becomes how hard he's going to push for it.
Although even if he did, the club aren't going to allow him to get it through on the (relative) cheap. They allowed Drinkwater to go because they didn't care that much about keeping him and felt it was decent business. There's a very good reason why this should be: Let a player, media or other club start to dictate terms and you open the floodgates. Leicester's stance is not, and will not be, just about Maguire. The club are looking to protect all their assets, now and in the future. The message the club wants to project is that you can progress from Leicester, but only if a top club is prepared to pay top whack for you. That message is worth protecting, regardless of what Man Utd, the media or Maguire himself do in the upcoming weeks. (And any Man Utd fans frustrated with our position need to understand this.)
All about how much Utd want him, if hes the player they want above anyone else then does it really matter how much they pay....?
No Agreement for Maguire Yet.....

Of course I did. I’ve been writing articles on rumours all season. I’m passing on what’s in the newspapers you cretin
Also worth mentioning that there are rumours around Dunk being viewed as a possible replacement, with a demand of around £50m. So even £80m for Maguire (minus what Hull would get as a sell-on fee) isn't necessarily going to go very far.

I'm not at all frustrated with Leicester's position. I'm frustrated with United trying to drive down Maguire's price from the rumoured £80m when they could get better players for something like what we actually want to spend.
Red Russian - , that's perfectly reasonable in my book. I wasn't especially referring to anyone on this forum, just a general theme I've seen in some quarters.

To be fair, majority of starting CBs in the Prem would improve our defence, doesn't say too much does it...! Saying that, rated Maguire going back to his Hull days, Love to see him at OT.
Great news. We can go after someone else. Someone good.
I think this will happen imo
