I think the fact Salah gets most Liverpool goals tells you he’s their main striker
Giggs was a winger who set up United strikers
----------------------------------------------------------------------
if matip scored a goal on every liverpool corner and was easily their top scorer would you classify him as a striker?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If your aunt had balls would you class her as your uncle?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
a question as an answer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok I’ll indulge you
Obviously not as he’s a CB whereas Salah is a forward

Just answer me this, who was marking Salah?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Luke Shaw. Not sure how you think this helps you. I am sure you will come up with something ridiculous though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What kind of players does Luke Shaw normally mark? I mean if he is the left back then what position is the person he is marking in if you are playing fat back four?

Rosso,
I get where you're coming from but I still expected better from your analysis tbh.
So, our defence in numbers ain't that bad right? I can tell you right now that our entire system has had to change to allow that. You won't see BOTH Tent and Robbo over lapping now for example and I could go on but cba
You could then throw in having to change the team every week (weird stat about how many different lines ups we've put out this season for example, 22 in all comps I believe).
Throw in some covid to Salah, Mane, Thiago, etc.
It's an awful and lazy analysis imo.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Dont forget our number 1 has missed a nimber of games as well. Poor wumming imo
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s nothing to do with WUMming. I’m busy labelling your squad amongst the best the PL has ever seen ffs
As to your last post Robbing, every side has had to rotate this season. Solksjaer has actually made more changes week to week than any other PL manager. And every squad has been hit to some extent by COVID-19.
I haven’t watched you every week, so I can’t talk about how much of a change Klopp has had to make tactically. But from what I’ve read of what has been written by Liverpool fans, the most significant tactical changes have been applied by Klopp in trying to combat tactical adjustments opponents have made to shut down your attack. That’s what your fans have been complaining about: Klopp’s Plan B being ‘found out’.
Now I don’t know if that’s correct or not; again, I’m just repeating what I’ve read. But when I have watched you play this season, it’s knitting it all together going forwards that has been the issue. I only saw the first half yesterday, but it was the same again: all of the ball and unable to do anything useful with it. Against us: comfortable at the back, most of the possession, but incredibly ineffective with the ball in front of two deep defensive banks and unable to break us down without any room to play in.
just waiting for cash to give it the " ooh look how many bites ive got" when he realises he is talking out his @rse
there is a difference between being a wide forward and a winger in a 442.
i wonder how many times youd catch ol' Mo at left back defending
What kind of players does Luke Shaw normally mark
.......
It depends on the set up of who we play. Liverpool for example he would mark your right sided forward.
I would expect you to know this.
Having seen, repeatedly for 24 months, Liverpool vs United joint XIs with ten or even eleven Liverpool players in, I’m amazed that I’m even having to argue this.
A couple of weeks ago, people were on here saying that they’d take Gomez, Matip and even Williams before any of our CBs.

Salah is simply better than Giggs.
