the good news with Souttar is that it wasnt a re-occuring injury. At the very least he is someone who is more than capable at domestic level, wont cost you a fortune, and for u is an upgrade on Simpson at very least.

Like any new manager GvB is a gamble but he only has to win a 2 horse race.

Rangers will not sell 2-3 players in Jan because the race will still be on (barring a GvB disaster) and they'll want the CL money. They might sell one and unfortunately Patterson is the expendable one atm.

Gerrard had to go - too good an opportunity and folk need a new challenge plus there maybe was some conflict over budgets just like BR? Some players might be sad, some might be over the moon, as always. Separation always a bit messy, chronology in doubt but that's just the way it is.

Souttar - a huge risk for anyone. Both Achilles so an inherent weakness. The worst injury a sportsperson can have outside of brain or spinal. Probably why Hearts are leaving any new offer to the last minute?

Appointing Lenny was like letting a kid steer your car at 20mph? Well tims said at the time it was a disaster. It took bears 2 years, multi-millions and hindsight to finally agree so disaster or safe pair which is it? Confused.
