As I said last week it's a great outcome for Rangers.

I have no doubt he'll be a smarter and more capable coach than Gerrard. Whether or not he's a better fit for Rangers remains to be seen.

His success with Feyenoord was fantastic, to win the league with them when they were the 3rd biggest team at the time anyway.

He’s an upgrade on Gerrard, I doubt we could’ve got him 3 years ago.

And he used to play for us.

Whether it’ll work who knows.

GVB was a great player, hated the fact he played for Rangers.

Hope he's the Dutch Pedro.

Interesting questions

As a manager he has proved he can win in a decent league

I couldn't care less if the man in charge ever played for Rangers before.

like any managerial appointment it could be wonderful or it could be a complete disaster.

It's nice that as a club he seemed to be identified as the main candidate and the club went out and got him in place quickly ands now we wait and see.

A yes, won title as an underdog against the two giants. Domestic cups too.
B yes of course. Knows club inside out. Unbelievably decorated player. Passes the show me your medals test against anyone.
