Just a question….
I know stats don’t need people to ‘comment’ as it’s more an information thread, but without interaction it’s hard to determine whether there’s any interest in this stuff I’m posting or not 🤷♂️
mate.... I read the new stats everytime you post, very interesting.... however, they'll make for much better reading once the job is done
Every single team who had 76+ points after 36 Championship games between 2004-05 and 2022-23 were top of the table at that stage, and then won the league.
Leeds, with 76 points after 36 games this season, are third. We've won 10 of our last 11 games. A mad season...
Leeds United are the only Championship team in the last six seasons to go 11 consecutive matches without conceding a goal in open play
Btw,
Gotta credit Johnny Cooper, stat man for Opta, and Lufcdata https://www.lufcdata.com/ as the main source for these stats I post.
I see their posts on Twitter /X which I know a lot of you don’t see, but feel they’re worth a wider audience .
LANDMARK: Daniel Farke becomes the first Leeds manager to win 3 consecutive games played on a Friday since Don Revie between 1964 and 1967
Leeds have now gone 12 league matches unbeaten for the first time since 2011 under Simon Grayson (also 12 matches)
Leeds are also unbeaten in 6 league matches away from home for the first time since 2001 in the Premier League (9)
Leeds are now unbeaten in 13 Yorkshire derbies away from home in the league (W8, D5, L0) stretching as far back as February 2018.
Leeds have now gone 12 league matches unbeaten from the start of a calendar year for the first time since 1969
Leeds have conceded just 28 goals after 37 league matches this season. Leeds have only ever conceded fewer goals at this stage of a campaign once before in 1968/69 under Don Revie (25)
Ampadu and Rodon have now played 18 hours of football without conceding a single goal from open play.
Now found another stats source @lufcstats….
On the last 15 occasions that a Leeds United manager has won the Manager of the month award we have only lost the next game once and that was under David O'Leary away at Arsenal in May 2001 (3 days before the CL semi final v Valencia)
This one is a corker ….
After tonight, the only defender with more Assists than Junior Firpo, is the leagues current assist leader Leif Davis
WTF 😬 🤣
Archie Gray now has the Leeds United club record for games started before turning the age of 18 (36), going one ahead of Terry Connor who had held the record since 1980.
Leeds United are now unbeaten in their last 50 Championship matches when scoring first
DWDWWWWDWWWWWWWWWDWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWDWDWWWWWWWWWW
Leeds United have a +40 goal difference for only the second time in the last 50 years - the only other time was at the end of the 2019-20 season (+42)

Its looking good for that getting busted!.
So with all these amazingly positive stats, thought I’d throw in one less positive…..
In Leeds United's last 25 matches, they have attempted 112 shots from outside the box and only scored once!
The Bamford howitzer !!
Leeds and Ipswich are already on 79/78 points from 37 games. That’s winning c70% of the available points.
With another 27 points still to play for and assuming the eventual 3rd place team only win 60% of those points, that’s another 16 points - total 94 pts.
Here is the 3rd place points tally in Championship history over last 20 years….
04/05 - 85
05/06 - 81
06/07 - 84
07/08 - 75

Unbelievable
Leeds are only the second team in Championship history to be 17+ points behind the top of the table in a season and then go on to end a day in 1st place, along with Reading in 2011-12
It took Reading 133 days to do that
It's taken Leeds 65 days💪🏻

Leeds have conceded just 3 equalising league goals this season, the fewest of any side in England's top four tiers in 2023/24.
Leeds have kept 10 clean sheets in the first 13 league matches at the start of a calendar year for the first time in the club's history.
This is the best ever defensive record to the start of a calendar year in Leeds United history.
