Started this thread in Feb when record stats were being made.

Thought I'd carry on with the hope that there's more to come in 2024/25 season 🤷‍♂️😬.

A reminder that most of my info comes from Twitter/X, so want to credit LUFCDATA and Jonny Cooper, and others as they appear

1st stat for 10/8/24.......

There were 40 fouls in today's game between Leeds and Portsmouth, the most in a game involving Leeds that Opta has on record since 2013-14.

Was very surprised with Pascal taking the penalty yesterday and have to admit some angst...but he dispatched it beautifully !!

Pascal was also the first Leeds United player wearing the number five shirt to score a penalty since Jack Charlton in March 1963 against Derby County

Last match was Daniel Farke's 100th win in the Championship, reaching that total in 190 games. It's the fewest games to reach 100 wins in the second tier of English football since 1903

Some more interesting stats:
From LUFC Data:
Leeds have avoided defeat in the last 56 Championship matches they have scored first in, which takes in 49 wins and seven draws. That run goes back to April 2019, when Wigan Athletic infamously went 1-0 down with 10 men at Elland Road on Good Friday, but won 2-1 with 23 per cent possession and two shots on target. We all remember that one!

Opta:
The Whites have only faced 40 shots in their opening six league matches and that’s the fewest shots faced by a second-tier side since Opta began measuring that statistic in 2013/14.

Cheers Middlesex.
I wasn't sure whether anyone was still interested in this stats page so hadn't posted recently.... but that stat about fewest shots was one I was thinking of posting.

I'm certainly not the sole source of such stats so if people are interested in keep this going, I'd encourage anyone to post anything you see.

I'll just add one........

In the 2-0 win over Cardiff, Leeds United recorded their most possession in a league match Opta has on record (79.3%), while 696 completed passes is the second-most on record in that time.
(Pity most of them were sideways or backwards !!!)

Another....

Leeds United have taken 147 corners in the Championship since they last scored via a corner in February against Swansea. 52 shots from corners in that time, 0 goals.
