Forget we won’t have Rooney and ronaldo scholay - we don’t have Saha, ole or Alan smith. We don’t even have that. Our players are at the level of Chris Eagles and Richardson. That’s the level. Ferguson made the decision to remove Ruud for the betterment of the team as he knew he had replacement players ready to go. What do we have ready to go? Garbage
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We are garbage with Bruno. We are 16th.

The hypocrisy of this place knows no bounds. The system we have in place is set up to get the best out of bruno. Vc explained this as clear as anyone could. The best for him is not yielding the best for Manchester United.

If you can’t see this, football is not for you.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No doubt I will get pelters for this, but Amorim's system is 3-4-3 and Bruno is fitted into this system. But i thought you said this was not an ideal system for Bruno, but at the same time you are saying we are building the team around him. Surely it is one or the other, not both?

I would understand more if playing Bruno in a system not suited to him was holding us back, but to me, this is nowhere near the case - it seems crazy to suggest otherwise and therefore equally as crazy not to play him in our current predicament?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fits in to benefit his GA. It is not beneficial for this team.

Throughout the season, when we have had everyone fit, you could see Amorim moving him around to always fit him in somewhere.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So are you saying that Bruno shouldn't be starting? Given how poor the rest of the team is, that would seem a bit suicidal?

Is your view that playing this system with our current players without Bruno is better than playing with him in it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The discussion here is moving forward. No one is talking about here and now.

This is not bloody rocket science. No one is stating he should not start.

For the betterment of this club moving forward, if a decent offer comes in for him that allows us to utilise the funds on 1 or 2 players, I am in support of this. What is difficult to grasp here?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well as far as I could see, you had not written that. Not sure what's with the attitude.

That is putting a lot of faith in those one or two players to work out, given how poor the rest of the team is. Bruno will of course move on one day, but I would say we are not in that position yet, given how poor the rest of the team is.

Bruno may not be of a Ronaldo / Suarez level, but then they were playing in teams much better to cope without him.

I personally don't feel it's the right move, at the very least not to keep Bruno for another year and when the team, is maybe playing better and then it can be a consideration. I'm also not sure how bad a fit Bruno is in Amorim's system - hopefully next season can reveal more. There are more pressing issues that requiring sorting before moving Bruno on.

But It has been proven that Bruno is not enough to get us out of this. And yet we have to build wholly around him regardless. We are sure of average at his best and battling relegation at his worst. I cannot be accept he is the best even if he might be the best. I'll rather try than do "nothing"

Why did I have to spell that out? Surely everything we have been talking about is to do with the future!

I do apologise if you feel there is attitude, I am frustrated!

Well all we have in this life is hope. We have persevered with Bruno and find ourselves in 16th. I am not sure how worse it can get if say we got 100m for him and spent it on two young and hungry creative midfield players.

To be fair, without Bruno this season we would without doubt be saying goodbye to the PL for at least a season and would not be in the Europa final.
I was silently hoping we would get relegated so fack you Bruno.

I just feel it is a bit premature to get rid of Bruno this summer. It's all about opinions I guess

You seem to be putting a lot on Bruno's shoulders? What about naming half a dozen other players who have done sod all for us - there is a raft of them to choose from. I would prefer to see what we can get for Rashford, Antony and any others and see how much that puts in the kitty. I guess we agree to disagree

The topic at hand was about Bruno. If you asked me about those players, I would tell you I am happy to drive them to Manchester Airport come summer.
