On Saturday I saw a post from someone I know on Facebook proclaiming all Muslims should leave the UK.

On Sunday he wrote a post celebrating Liverpool last minute winner...

This should be more than an acknowledgement. It should be a large concern. Do I need to continue the Hitler analogies or are you getting it yet?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Hitler is the most extreme of extreme examples.

I am concerned with the direction of travel but to suggest that Hitlers Germany is the logical end, or even relevant here, is way off the mark. Not helpful...and tbh not easy to identify when you are doing your usual left-field humour to make a point or making a serious point.

No, but will be keeping a close eye. They're not a friend or anything just someone from my home town that added me because I used to admin my home town's Facebook group. Had to stop doing that as I was somehow being blamed for vaccine deaths!

"Im not going to argue with you FOAR."

Correct, and definitely not from the starting point of things I blatantly haven't said

You confuse plurality with absolutism all the time and make the mistake of more than one meaning all. Not just with me, with other posters too.

Usual disingenuous contrarianism that's the norm for you

We all know where this ends. I fully expect mass attacks on Muslims, especially Muslim women. Will be lots of unrest and I think it’s imperative for Muslims to leave the west. I think it’s best for both sides and would be good if western nations could help facilitate it. Free flights would be good. When Muslims leave it will be interesting who the next group will be. But yeah if you are Muslim and have money, no reason to stay. If you have no money, get money ASAP and go back to your parents or grand parents country of origin and help develop it. Nothing for you in UK except abuse.

Was a great and successful day for freedom of speech. My personal favourite part of the freedom of speech day was when one of the freedom of speech champions from New Zealand or something, came over here and freely delivered his speech, telling the crowd that we must impose Christianity on the nation, shut down all mosques, temples and false places of worship and enforce Christianity on children at schools - to the cheers of all the free speech advocates in the crowd and the freedom of speech martyr Tommy Robinson standing behind him.

Finally feels like we've got are country back.

It's extremely helpful in helping you understand why people who you say just have genuine concerns about their country, attending a Tommy Robertson march, with his extreme anti Muslim views, is actually a big problem.

This is a man who would genuinely implement policies to eliminate Muslims from the UK.

By these people attending because they've had enough of whatever it is they think they've had enough of, puts weight behind his possible intentions to eliminate the Muslims.

Actually Tommy is more open about it than Hitler was to be fair. The age of social media. Doesn't pay to be subtle.

I'm not sure why the sky reporter being black gives it more weight? That sounds a bit condescending. He is there to do a job, got a few interviews with folk there, and from what I saw said they agreed with some of the things but not everything that Tommy R was spouting. Who knows what range of folk that small sample represented.

But anything which is led by Tommy R is going to attract a certain type of coverage and it's a fine line to attend such a protest.

I go back to an earlier comment - this protest was to 'Unite the Kingdom' - how ironic.

I asked several times on social media what they were marching for and none of them gave me a proper answer.

I attended the Hitler march because my gas bills have gone up due to woke energy policies.

Its not a fascist dictatorship

Anyone thinking Reform coming to power (which will be the logical end if the Government fails to act across a wide range of issues) will be the equivalent to Hitlers N@zi party coming to power really is lacking a few braincells.

I think it puts him in a position where his objectivity could not be questioned. If i was linking a GB news piece which shared the same content then i'm sure their objectivity would be questioned.

Irishred - not at all. It’s very important to be able to anticipate potential harm so you can avoid it. The trajectory is clear. People will get poorer, immigration will continue and Muslims will be blamed. Things will continue to deteriorate. A Muslim dying is not a big issue in western nations, as Muslims are seen as subhuman and we can see this with Palestinians. A child dying is just a number. So if let’s say 1 million Muslims were killed in western countries, I don’t think there would be any major outcry. It’s imperative for safety reasons to leave.

I love the fact that lefties think they have the astuteness to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff, yet people on the right are all clodpolls who believe everything they read online.

They are already planting the seeds in America and through Tommy Robertson's lot that Nigel Farage is not right wing enough. This wasn't a reform march. This was a Tommy Robertson march, and a show of support for him. And as you have said, average people with genuine concerns about their country, without the intelligence to diagnose them, are being led to him.

Loving this vague threat angle. Might use it in future. Like we are just looking out for them. Clever.

I cant believe that we have so called intelligent people on the Right who know very well who Tommy Robinson is and have known about his ways and motives for decades are now saying that he and his paymasters have the solutions to the UKs problems as they see them. This is the guy who was allowed on BBC QT a few years ago who ended up shouting his allegiance to Luton Town FC above the vocal disgust from the audience. This is very concerning to normal British people and their families. Fascism will only win power in this country through the ballot box, despite what Yaxley-Lennon and Musk advocate, but if and when they get it then God help us all. Its just like Germany in the late 1920s right now. Seems the jackboots have already started to march.

No one questioned a reporters objectivity. Why do you start a debate from a POV that didn't happen?

Doesn't matter what outlet a few vox pops isn't representative of 150,000 people's reasons for being there. No more than 'all being tarred as racist because....', which no one has done on this thread.

If I had 'concerns for the country' would I attend a rally by a racist in the rain, listening to 20 racists speak, with a bunch of people chanting 'send them home' and 'oh Tommy Tommy'

No because I may be associated with those idiots

You don't detect any irony in tarring everyone who are "lefties" with the same brush?

Yeah it's not a concern at all that the most powerful man in the world, who controls the media (that these people consume), promotes Tommy Robertson as his number one guy on his social media site.

You've been played Devonspur. A few years ago, those backing Tommy Robertson would justifiably be called massive racists. Now you are genuinely justifying those supporting him by saying they just have "genuine concerns".

You've been done over and Musk will continue this until he has his puppet Tommy Robertson in power. There's not a lot you can do, but Devon, it's good to acknowledge and at least be aware of what is happening.

We have got to the point, where you, as a pretty intelligent poster are now saying that people are right to back Tommy Robertson because there is no longer a crown on pint glasses, when you know full well what Robertson actually stands for..
