Whoever he is, he’s not part of the refereeing team for the weekend.

Who's the guy that lost the bet to Fan, and didn't pay up?

Beeb footie gossip's a depressing read today ...

"Ange Postecoglou is set to take a break from football after being sacked as Nottingham Forest manager, ruling out any chance of a Celtic return. (Scottish Sun)"

"Former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou is very unlikely to return to the Scottish champions at present, while it would take a great deal of convincing for Kieran McKenna to leave Ipswich Town mid-season, but Ferencvaros' Robbie Keane and former Shelbourne boss Damien Duff are being assessed. (Sky Sports)"

Any chance we could maybe cast the net further than any cant with a Celtic and/or Oirish connection?

anyways Kelechi seems to have a chance of being back on Sunday

Oh, I know it's paper talk, but on this occasion I doubt it's too far wide of the mark. Time will tell, but does anyone seriously think our dinosaurs are conducting a rigorous, analytical appraisal of all realistic options? I certainly don't.

... Lenny 1.0 was the easy/lazy option ... tenfold that for Lenny 2.0 ... Brendan 2.0 easy/lazy again. There's a pattern here.

Oh great, a 51 year old guy who's never had a permanent club managerial role. Hmm ...

TBF our Board had lined up Eddie Howe until Eddie couldn’t persuade his support staff to go to Glasgow (allegedly) We ended up getting big Ange and most of us were questioning that appointment until Ange transformed the team. Always a difficult appointment no mater what - just look at Rangers lol 😂

Oh, I'm not saying it's easy. I'm under no illusions how difficult it is to persuade decent candidates to move to our backwater league. Full credit for the Ange appointment too, although just like our uber-scattergun player recruitment, they're bound to luck out on the managerial front occasionally as well.

On the paper talk bit I saw this “ Desmond is not as well known or understood as other billionaires such as JP McManus and John Magnier, with whom he is about to share a €6bn windfall from the sale of British nursing-home business Barchester.l

On top of his already c.$2.2bn wealth.

In fairness, he will probably instruct his butler to get one of his secretaries secretary to explain it on here for us mere mortals.

Anything to ram it up them.
Then down their throats.
I don't even like baseball.
