Agree with 4&5 don’t really know the others. RTJ4 coming out next month

If this album bangs then it’s 4/4; not many rappers/groups have achieved that

Run The Jewels and Czarface just knock out great album after great album.

Anyone peeped Rome Streetz?

Swear he is the best new rapper out right now.

Crooked I been getting busy lately. Racking up features on underground projects. Stirring up debate on Twitter about where to take the culture next.

Never heard of Rome Streetz tbh.

Should check him out. I think you'll enjoy his music given the projects and artists you mention on here. His cadence is insane.

Joell Ortiz & Kxng Crooked dropped a good album as well. H.A.R.D

I have to say this New York renaissance that's been bubbling since about 2015 has really ignited into an inferno for me. Everyone is just dropping quality.

Griselda basically have the game on lock at the moment. Then there's Roc Marci, who basically started all of it. KA as well. Now there's some 'new school' like 38 Spesh, Eto, Mach Hommy, Hus Kingpin, Planet Asia, Smoovth, Estee Nack, Rome Streetz, Crimeapple, just some of my favs.

A solid 8/10 on first listen.

Just listened to it for the first time, not gonna do a rating yet. Think I didn’t like the opening songs much but by halfway through thought the album was picking up so much good momentum.

This seems to be 4 top quality albums now. There isn’t many rap groups who have bettered that, if any. As much as I am stuck in the 90s they are in unprecedented territory.

I feel this was Killer Mike heavy, which is only a good thing (no offence El P). Maybe due to current political climate?

Killah Priest - Rocket to Nebula.

The first few tracks, especially the first two, are really good. I started listening to the album while trying to haul my fat a** around a 5k, so was hating life a little.

RTJ4 or Rocket?

RTJ4. However I am sure I would be in a bad move for rocket too.

It's crazy how it works out like that sometimes. I sometimes also have to tell myself that I shouldn't listen to new music if I'm irritated or whatever for some reason because I know, if the song doesn't take to me within the first few seconds, I'm just going to skip

Yeah it is Killer Mike heavy, I like

My mates prefer El-P's style though and it causes arguments

I like El P but I mean, it’s not even close.

I think it’s holy calamafack and ET vs Arsenal which are the two tracks I don’t like

If you like music then maybe give Skyzoo's The Bluest Note a listen. Nice little jazz influenced ep

This is old new now, but anyone listen to NPR tiny desk concert? I got into it last year after stumbling onto it via RTJ stuff.

Wu Tang and Big Daddy Kane on it are unbelievable.
