Only difference this season, is that the poor form is at the start.

If the plan is to sell Salah at the end of the season then it has to be for Olise's release clause, if that release clause rumour is true

Bayern have come out over the last couple of days saying that there is no release clause. Might be BS but they're certainly denying it.

He had a slow start not too long ago if memory serves me correctly...something like 2 or 3 goals in his first 10 games or something

Playing in that front three for Bayern looks so much fun atm.

Kane scored his 22 goal of the season last night, and it’s not even November.

We saw yesterday why Kane scores so many in Germany. That high line is a dream for forwards.

Hess only got 5 goals in three games in the CL tbf.

Kane scores goals everywhere.

Well, that and the fact he's an absolutely fantastic footballer.

The year before Kane arrived the Bundesliga top scorer had 16 goals (Nkunku). The only players to score at a similar rate to Kane in recent years are Haaland and Lewandowski. And apparently Bayern fans think Kane is better than Lewa was.

In the same way Salah doesn't always get his dues, Kane is seriously under-valued in England imo.

His play making has been top tier.

I think Salah is just in his own head a lot at the minute.

It's clear he's been deeply affected by Jota's passing and it also looks like he's trying too hard to correct his poor start to the season which is leading to things like shooting when he should pass. Plus he's also not receiving the ball as much as he did last year.

He'll hit form at some point this season but might not be the worst thing to take him our the starting XI for a little bit.

Isak is going to work out very well for us indeed I reckon.

There’s potential in this squad for a ridiculous second half of the season, just need to stay in touch until then.

Agreed Isak will come good. His new injury might be a blessing short term cos Slot was always going to keep pickling him despite his fitness and form. Ekitike is the number 9 and needs to be backed.

One thing missed from all the doom and gloom talk has been how hard our fixtures have been.

As the table currently stands, after City we'll have played 4 of the top 5 and 10 of the top 14.

Burnley are the only team lower than 15th who we've played so far.

I think if we sign a CDM we’re going to be significantly better balanced than we are currently but there were a lot of good signs last night.

Ekitike simply has to start so maybe 2 up top is the way without Salah.
