Never seen it. Feels like one of those movies that everyone wanted to be good so they said it was good. Regardless of what it was.

All I know about Barbie is that Gal Gadot was offered the part but turned it down.
Oh, and also that Margot Robbie bought the rights off Mattel a few years ago (and stepped into the role herself when Gadot turned it down).

It's got proper zany humour tbf, lots of Kenergy despite the woman stuff.

So I've heard. I've only allegedly seen it.

Seriously btw, IF anyone's interested in giving a musical* a fair go, try Umbrellas of Cherbourg or La La Land (a remake of Cherbourg).
Every line in Cherbourg is sung but you get used to it after a bit, and there's added amusement watching the actors trying not to crease up.

*like a full on musical
