WTF are Labour doing?

Working class are getting gangraped again thanks to their own party.

---------
How do you come to that conclusion?

That's fine, as long as the membership realise that the shift left will turn labour into a fringe party.

I've said the same thing all along about Corbyn, and that is that regardless of his policies, he is not and never will be a leader capable of running a mainstream party.

I'm pretty sure he knows that himself too, he used to say it in the past.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I honestly don't think it's Corbyn a lot of them have a problem with though.

Many of them are so obsessed with getting reelected they're only interested in supporting a centrist candidate. It wouldn't matter if it was Corbyn or a like-minded candidate that the Membership backed.

I might be wrong and we might see another centre left candidate emerge that the PLP will back. But I'd expect to hear the same bullsheet messages about finding a leader that will connect with the middle class and voters outside the cities, etc.

Personally, I don't care who leads the Party provided it is someone with a brain and integrity and who will represent the Membership, and state its case fairly and openly. I think Corbyn has, and could continue to do that.

What I'd really like to see is the Labour leadership talking to the SNP, Plaid and the Greens about their very wide common ground, and how they could work together as a progressive coalition to put the case for a fairer future for us all.

Seriously there will be no second referendum, there will be no change, it;s done so stop crying about it and get on with life.

Grow up!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Who is crying?

I can see people calmly discussing the ongoing events surrounding the most important political decision of our lifetimes.

I am not aware of anyone crying.

A lot will be Corbyn and his personal style Rosso. I've met him a few times and he has some traits that don't lend themselves to the role he is in. He's brilliant at certain things though.

I care. Not crying though.

Yes vote is done. Went against what I voted for but hey.

Also the idiots signing that petition. What a waste of time and effort. The bed has been made and we all have to lie in it.

Just so long as I don't have to lie next to the bed wetting leave voters who want to change their votes because they didn't think their vote would count or that a leave vote would trigger a general election.

I genuinely feel sorry for those people as they appear to have had problems grasping what the referendum was really about.

The scariest thing about all of this is we now know how bad our education system is and what's worse is that it will only get worse as some of the current generation of 5 A-star students are going to become teachers and the downward spiral will continue.

I can see it too melts; I think part of me just doesn't want to because he's the first Labour leader I've admired since John Smith.

Maybe there is another like-minded candidate out there, but I can't think of one off the top of my head.

Burnham might not be a disaster if he listened to the Membership, but I couldn't see him working with the other progressives.
