I hate how his identity is revealed. It's give him the publicity and attention he craves.

In the words of Donald Trump, why can't he just remain an "evil loser"?

How it should be:-

Convicted terrorists or people who die comitting atrocities shouldn't be named in the media, nor should their photos be relleased.

Instead they should be given a random number like #2061 and be refered to as that in perpertuity.

That way they wouldn't be given the recognition they crave and it would be harder for them to be regarded as martyrs by their peers.

I know their names would be revealed through social media but at least keep their identities off TV and out of the mainstream media.

Extremists who are thinking of committing an attack will be inspired by the fact this sc um got so much attention, as I'm sure this sc um was inspired by people before.

Think about it, he has got attention all around the world with world leaders all talking about the event he caused. I don't think he should be named

I don't understand the point of giving them a number when the name will be announced anyway. No would-be terrorist is sat at home inspired because of the guy's name. That doesn't matter. His actions matter.

I see why people might think not naming him makes sense but it was always gonna be revealed

All the parents of the dead have every right to know who killed their kids and this will always come out

The problem with hiding his identity is that we begin to create our own image of a terrorist and we soon lose sight of the fact they are British born and bred whose families have come here for freedom.
It is, imo, important to highlight the fact these evil caaants grew up here not some war torn hell hole. It is important to show these scuumbags have the same hobbies as us. It is important to highlight how we (And the Muslim community especially) need to 'spot the signs' of people becoming radicalized.
