Look who's being arrogant.
We know how high we were and how we have fallen. You have no idea about United fans. You were 4th last season. We were Second. If you were a far better side you'd not have finished below us last season. Nor would you be worried about your manager leaving for us.
If anything, this season we have been below par. The main person for that is now gone. And unlike Tottenham, we want to win things and the PL. Not just make up the numbers.
And despite currently being a better side, that's not going to last. You were better than Liverpool, City and Chelsea the last few years and yet all have won things bar Liverpool (who could win the PL this season).
For all the hype, you only do well when the pressure is off.
At this current time, Spurs are a far better side than United. The league don`t lie.
——————————
Strange, then, that United were “far better” than Spurs last season and Spurs overtook us without buying anyone.

Sandy, you have a chip on your shoulder. I said we should look at them and not limit our choices to just Poch. He may or may not come, he may be off to Real. He is an ambitious man and sadly Tottenham cannot match his ambition to win things.
Regardless of other things stated. We are much bigger than Tottenham. And the Juventus coach has conquered Italy with Juventus, as Conte did before him. If he wants a change, United would be a great opportunity for him. Nothing about us taking them. We've been rejected by players before when we were the best club in the nation. That's nothing new. Matt Jansen, Shearer, Robben, a few examples.
Remember, you finished below us last season. This season, Jose sabotaged us due to his own ego. If he didn't, we'd be in a much better position. Chelsea have more chance of winning something before you do and they have finished above and below you the last few years. Both Liverpool and City who you have finished above have gone ahead of you. The only thing people will remember about this Tottenham side is that they were the best in the last 30 years and won nothing.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It`s not really about Tottenham though is it fella, more about supporters like you being in denial on how far United have now fallen in the pecking order. What went on in the past is in the past. At this current time, Spurs are a far better side than United. The league don`t lie.
Not wishing to be too down on you, but your supporters are now starting to sound like Liverpool supporters in the early 1990s, when they thought they would soon be winning the division again. 29 years later they are still waiting.
------------------------------
How far have we fallen? We finished second last season. I'd say we have got the 2nd or 3rd best squad in the league. Despite how far we have fallen we have still won more in our last 3 seasons than Spurs in the last 30 years.
The difference between us and the Liverpool side of 29 years ago is money. We lucked our in that our rise to the top coincided with the rise of Sky Sports. We rode the crest of a wave and were well manged both on and off the field. As a result we are in a position where we are always likely to be able to compete at the top. We just need a decent manager.
In addition, we are still the biggest club in England. We still have the biggest stadium, can pay the biggest wages, offers mangers big transfer funds and a better opportunity of winning trophies than Spurs.

Evidence suggests Ole is one of the best. He has made Man Utd who look like they have no plan under Mourinho except to look like a pub side to a team that has high press with creation of lots of good chances.
Ole side is like a LVG side but with flair and tons more through balls with lots more runners in the box. Basically back to SAF level.

Some interesting info here on Ole's time at Molde:
Tor-Kristian Karlsen is the sporting director at Norwegian club IK Start and previously held the same role at clubs such as Monaco and Maccabi Haifa.
Karlsen has followed Solskjaer's playing and managerial career and his IK Start side have faced Solskjaer's Molde on several occasions.
"The way I see it, Solskjaer appears more ready to face a new challenge now than when he joined Cardiff," Karlsen told BBC Sport.
"I'm sure that experience taught him a great deal and is something that will prove useful knowledge if he were to get another go in the Premier League.
"Molde started off the season quite slowly, but as the team started to gel and develop they ended up playing some exhilarating football.
"In my view, despite ending up second behind Rosenborg, they were the outstanding team this season.
"And had they not faced a slump in form during the summer months, in which they dropped some unnecessary league points - the early European rounds took their toll - they would have caught Rosenborg in the end.
"Molde played with a lot of energy, pace and flair. Their home win against Rosenborg towards the end of the season was the best performance I've seen from a team in Norway this season.
"Ironically, it was a bit like watching Liverpool against Manchester United at the weekend - Rosenborg could hardly get the ball out of their own half.
"Solskjaer has also done exceptionally well by bringing through some new talented players this season. Erling Braut Haland has already been sold to Red Bull Salzburg for a huge transfer fee and Eirik Hestad ended up as one of the most exciting midfielders in the league."
That emphasis on adventurous football and nurturing young players is precisely what United are looking for after Mourinho was deemed to have failed to deliver on both those fronts.
