In fairness, AC Milan weren’t as good as this Juve side.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Jose just beat this Juve side.

See, any one can do this.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really relevant. When talking about how far teams go in the CL the opposition is relevant. AC Milan are not as good as Juventus were. Us fluking a result in the group stages of the CL this season doesn’t change that.

Ironically on an article on short termism I’m seeing the vast majority of united supporters on here trying to look a short term gains as the be all and end all when what poch is doing at Spurs is exactly the type of long term management that these same united supporters claim to want
———
This is a fair point, actually. Pochettino’s ability to build a team and develop them over the longer term, especially with youngsters, is one of the most appealing things about appointing him.
------

As it is with Ole.

Never said it was, but then neither is your opinion on who was better and when.

This article is about short termism.

Jose didn’t work out - maybe we need something different and Poch is highly regarded by most in the game for being exactly just what united fans have wanted for years

__________

Solkskær has been doing it at United with the Reserve and Youth teams for quite some time. So, in a way, Ole is already a proven.

Can Poch do it at United? Only perhaps.

Ole has faith in youngsters.

So far he has handled the young players who were already in the squad with credibility.

It's just waiting to see how it turns out with any young players he nurtures into our squad.

Poch has shown that he has the great ability to nurture up and coming talent. That's largely why they have that great understanding.

Because it is your opinion. What part of that don't you understand? Sometimes you are thicker than Nobb.

It’s pretty obvious that Juve are better than the AC Milan team Spurs faced. So it’s relevant when talking about how they faired in the CL.

Ole was only at United for two years. Coaching the academy isn’t the same as doing this in the premier league. So there are question marks. Pochettino is a better bet for the long term than Ole, in my opinion.

It isn't obvious at all. This Juve team got beat by Jose.

Poch need to find a way to win these kind of games.

If he is up to the job, id say that Ole is a better bet for the long term. Can you see Poch staying a decade? I can't. But Ole could well. Assuming he does well this season, I'd take the risk knowing what the pay off would be.

I am hoping Solskjaer signs at least a new 3 year contract with us if he can get out of Molde contract by us paying the millions to get him.

I don't want Poch. I rather get Zidane if Solskjaer is moved on.

You do know Ole has been building a team at Molde, don't you?
