After 20 games:

Liverpool had 151 shots 76 on target more than they have faced,

Man City had 219 shots 85 on target more than they have faced.

Tottenham Hotspur had 1 shot less but 18 on target more than they have faced.

How is the treatment going?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Have finished all 35 radiotherapy sessions, as of last week. Thanks for asking.

Resting up now, like you'd rest a piece of cooked meat. Extremely painful experience - still is.

So, a lesson to us all. Get yourselves checked out for Prostate cancer. Pronto.

This previous post proves that Poch is going for short term route. Bit like when Leiciester City won the league and Man Utd last season having same points, it ain't sustainable relying on the opposition missing and your team scoring most of your chances.

Hafi did you manage to bed the hot babe who handed you the trophy for winning that car game?
-----

Did he win it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Aye, and I laughed seeing him in real life because he is exactly how I pictured him to be.
------

Superb. I know he was nervous. Well done Hafi. Have you got a link?

I wasn't nervous at all. I never felt any pressure and my heart rate was like normal vs when I try to qualify for it lol.

The only time I felt annoyed was when I went 3-2 down in semi-final as I really should have won 4-1 by then. I can go 3-5 seconds faster on most of the tracks but I drove really slow for some reason and couldn't snap out of it.

Can't believe I missed out on Hafi's experiences of learning to drive. Gutted.

Wonderful to hear you’re doing good, Beeb.

Nobb, I thought after Mourinho it would be good for us all to start fresh. Some of the things you’ve written here shows you’re still the same idiot. Top 4 is now a trophy my word! Spoken like an Arsenal fan

I drove 7.49 seconds faster on same track on JP-LM then I did with the F3000 lol. I was slowest by a lot on the day. I was going slow in F3000 thinking we were due another 5 minutes of driving but they cut the session into 2x5 min sessions instead of the 1x15 min session. You can see at end I was about to push lol.

Hope the results are for the good. At least you now have some decent footy to watch.

Not sure why you are saying Woosh to Scholay, Nobb, as that was your very argument.

I think we need 72 points at least for 4th. I think we will get 66 points if we go all the way in the CL but 72 points if we get knocked out early.

Ole sounds likes he’s done well at Molde but it’s hard to compare to what Poch has done at a far higher level while competing with clubs with far greater financial reserves. Poch has shown at the highest level he can develop youth and get player playing at a very high level, with long term goals all while being restricted financially. Obviously having not won anything is a blight in his career but I think it’s clear he’s one of the top managers in Europe, I don’t think this can or has ever really been said of Ole, if it were I’d imagine he would have left Molde for a good team in a top European league (Cardiff was always a poor choice at the time).

Let’s not forget he’s only managed us for 3 games and he probably hasn’t even been able to implement much of a style other than to give the players the freedom to play their game and be happy. Let’s see how he actually does over the next month or 2 before suggesting he could take over the job full time if he does well as we simply have no idea whether he will or not.

I’d be really happy if we got Poch in the summer, but I still feel he’d rather take the Real job over us right now.

Tbh I think it will take 76-79 points to get 4th. It's not an overly strong league and I don't see Chelsea dropping enough points for 72 to be even close to sufficing for CL qualification

1982, if Poch is available this summer, I am all for getting him. He will promote youth, he will play expansive football , and most importantly, he will not create a toxic environment. In saying all this, I think we would be naive to consider Ole if we carry on this form. Also, the players seem to really like the guy, respect him highly, and they are all playing with a swagger. I have to say I am warming to the idea.

posted on 1/1/19

But it’s way too early to even consider that based on 3 games against 2 relegation fodder and a Bournemouth side in terrible form. If hypothetically he does go on and get us playing great football, especially against the top sides then sure, he can be considered but at the same time I hope the club have already begun the process to get our long term manager, this isn’t something we can ignore until May.

I’m enjoying the football these last 3 games but I’m not gonna say anything regarding Oles future with us until at least a couple months where his style will be clearer to see and we can see how he does against the top sides who have some great technical managers.

I don't think anyone is saying we should appoint Ole yet.

I have no issues with Poch as such other than that he hasn't been able to take that next step forward.

He has a good chance in the League Cup semis coming up.

If Ole does a great job, it would be naive not to consider him.

Poch is apparently number 1 choice for us and Real. If we both come calling, he would choose Real. South Americans have more affinity with the La Liga.

But we shouldn't restrict our choices to just these two. We should look at others such as Juventus' coach or Jardim for example. What we need to do is look at the type of players we have and employ a coach that can get the best out of them. It was why Jose was always the wrong coach to hire. We didn't have players that played his style and nor did we sign players in the mold that he likes. The fact we went from LVG to Jose shows there was no real planning other than looking at big names. It is why Zidane would be the wrong appointment for us.

We need to hire someone that suits our way. Ole does. Poch seems to, as well. We need to look at it that way.

Why do you arrogantly think you can just go and take the Juventus manager off them. United are not one of the world's big hitters anymore. Why would any manager with guaranteed CL footie like Poch and the Juventus manager leave for a club with probable Europa football for the foreseeable future.

Sandy, you have a chip on your shoulder. I said we should look at them and not limit our choices to just Poch. He may or may not come, he may be off to Real. He is an ambitious man and sadly Tottenham cannot match his ambition to win things.

Regardless of other things stated. We are much bigger than Tottenham. And the Juventus coach has conquered Italy with Juventus, as Conte did before him. If he wants a change, United would be a great opportunity for him. Nothing about us taking them. We've been rejected by players before when we were the best club in the nation. That's nothing new. Matt Jansen, Shearer, Robben, a few examples.

Remember, you finished below us last season. This season, Jose sabotaged us due to his own ego. If he didn't, we'd be in a much better position. Chelsea have more chance of winning something before you do and they have finished above and below you the last few years. Both Liverpool and City who you have finished above have gone ahead of you. The only thing people will remember about this Tottenham side is that they were the best in the last 30 years and won nothing.

It`s not really about Tottenham though is it fella, more about supporters like you being in denial on how far United have now fallen in the pecking order. What went on in the past is in the past. At this current time, Spurs are a far better side than United. The league don`t lie.

Not wishing to be too down on you, but your supporters are now starting to sound like Liverpool supporters in the early 1990s, when they thought they would soon be winning the division again. 29 years later they are still waiting.
