Clubs don't have that level of insurance.

Even if they did the insurer would contest it cos they're as cvnty at Levy.

Big clubs definitely do have that insurance. Michael Owen talked about how he was told by Newcastle's then owner years back that he wasn't to be fit again for X amount of weeks - entirely because the insurance was covering his wages.

gardening leave
-------------------------

Never knew footballers would go on horticultural therapy charity.

Garden leave ffs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you never heard of it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Garden leave yes, gardening leave not for footballers no, or any other employment other than in horticulture
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s the same thing, just a different way of saying it. Bit odd that you find it so funny….
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Its completely different ffs. But you love a good argument.

Garden leave means you get paid time off to do fack all.

Gardening leave is a charity aimed at british military veterans to help them deal with mental health issues.

I’ll go with the Oxford dictionary rather than someone who wears wooden shoes 👍

DYOR. Sure there's insurance but all available information strongly suggests it is highly unlikely to cover 100% of all injuries or salaries and with sizeable excesses and with injured player number triggers. And with the circus around Kane they are highly likely to doubt whether he is injured at all so expect a dispute like all cvnto insurance companies.

Maybe Levy is the cvnt to get into a dispute but it would be yet another debilitation surrounding the club that will see figures liek £150m drop like a stone.
