Wtf happened to the CL draw!
You will have to use Auba while he is still at the club so I expect him to be back in the squad sooner than later.
So not the fact we need him or anything?

Not totally sure.
But Andrei Ashavin was somehow involved
Sergio Aguero is set to announce his retirement on Wednesday.
Are you suggesting Barca for Auba?

Software "mistake" apparently. Didn't make certain teams available for the draw when they should have been.

Yeah he should be in the squad but I wouldn't be starting him just yet.
Most of arsenal best performances under Arteta have come when Auba is not in the team.
However, he should be coming on from the bench if the attackers are struggling
Just proves further the whole thing is "managed"
How else can you explain us getting Barca or Bayern every year🤔

Imagine if Arteta had said what had actually happened. Do you think anyone would have cared? Henry came back late from trips and was not ready for games. We fumed a bit and moved on. All this 'discipline talk' makes a mountain out of a molehill every time.
I was fine with it on Saturday. But yeah, Arteta made it sound like it was something huge. If the Ornstein story is true, then yeah this should have remained an internal "issue".
The way it has been publicised doesn't help neither side.
I compared it how Wenger handled a far greater breach of our disciplinary code with Giroud on the match day thread.
Lack of experience is telling. If you are going to buy big ego players for £50m+ you better know how to handle them.

Noth bothered to go back but honestly how about Everton?
There are rules and every player know the rules no matter how the rules were years ago. It's the second time he breached the too late rule apparently.
Arteta have answered the question about Auba with high professionalism. He hasn't answered any further question to this matter. We fans want to know what is going on he has told us and now being critised for saying what has happened ffs.
I think you'll find it hard to argue against him being dropped but Arteta really is an outlier by making the fact it's disciplinary public
I understand what he wants to achieve but it's risky and it's getting to a point where they can't both be at the club
Auba is clearly a bad influence though and it looks like Arteta is now seeking to force him out

_____________
Don't think that Arteta wants him out to be honest.
Arteta knows that he has likely to replace Laca in the summer, maybe earlier if we want to get some money for him.
So losing both in summer and replacing them is difficult in a difficult market where everyone looking for strikers.
Why do you think he keeps playing Eddie?
There is no way Arteta thinks that Eddie can replace Auba or Laca for that matter. We are supposed to be in the market for a striker aren't we?
Honestly now Crouch, do you think we make CL this season or even the Europa unless we improve our goalscoring? And if don't isn't it more likely that Auba outlasts Arteta at Arsenal? So who needs who more?
Eddie isn't going to get us there for sure

I have no real answer to it. Maybe he is hoping he can convince him to stay at Arsenal like he could convince Balogun?
I think that's the plan too
