Hopefully in january

Zero chance I reckon. Would be "like a new signing" if we did manage to get rid of him though

Just don't understand the hold this CAAAAANT has over his managers. Wenger and emery had panic attacks without him too. We've predictably gone back to slow, chit football with him back in the side.

To be fair, with or without Xhaka we're only going to see slow, chit football while Arteta is the manager

Jorge Jesus?

So basically the teams who get fed called off for covid are our rivals 🤔

Spurs and Man Utd always seem to find a way to manipulate the fixture list.

Not sure calender congestion down the road is a good thing.

Any other period of the season I'd agree totally but they're getting 7 or more days without a game while we are playing every 3

Spurs had the same last season as well. In fact they have been involved in almost half of all postponed games - all in this busy December/January period

Spurs have almost certainly forfeited their European campaign, don't think they will have issue re-arranging Burnley and Brighton for calm periods.

Spurs and United fixtures being postponed 100% benefits them. You can be sure too that by the time the postponed fixtures are played that their opponents will have nothing to play for. Pretty annoying. When I look at the table I just add on 6 points for Spurs and 3 for United now.

Unless the PL is going to be temporarily suspended again, they’re going to need to bring in some sort of rule whereby if teams can name 14 fit players, they’ll be forced to play their fixtures.

Kind of has always been that rule... until Spurs and United decided otherwise.

Guess we’ll have at least a month of matches being played in empty stadiums again soon.

This is truly a farce.

I don't know why the premier league doesn't already have the rules ready to go. The NFL for example has been planning for such contingencies before the tournament started.

Genuinely didn’t realise this.

Ridiculous then.
