Gabriel is passionate and a super defender. But he is not considered the very best. He is not at the elite level because he does not think at critical moments and reacts. That is not always bad, but instinct only gets you so far at times. When you play against Haaland who is the best striker in the world you have to be thoughtful about spaces because he will exploit them.

You are making a bigger deal of my comment than it really is.

He is consistent and turns up in big games. He is a big reason why we have such a good record v the big six

Not sure about Eze playing in the middle but on the right.

I think Arteta made a point of it yesterday but his best position is probably more the left side of MF

Arteta set up like we were playing prime barca. This is arguably one of the worst city teams under Pep but Arteta is more about not losing games than actually trying to win them

We has all the ball but no players who could do anything with it. By the time the creative players were on we were 1 down and City had 8 defenders on.

Liverpool won games like that, we drop 2 points.

Liverpool? They were praised.

Who were praised?

We are talking about Arsenal, who gives a fack about Liverpool? And Liverpool were criticised and most said a 0-0 was the fair result for such a pathetic game between two teams who offered fack all in attack.

The game at Anfield and the game yesterday were there to be won. But because Arteta hasn't the bawls to play Nwaneri or start Eze and instead play 3 DMs we ended up with 1 point.
