Didn't watch any Snooker yesterday or the past couple of day's actually which is odd so I'll watch the highlights briefly now.
He'll bring a fresh face to the Snooker world and some more enjoyment in a Sport which lacks people like him because it's all seriousness and focus. He's living the dream!
Different is what some aspect of the sport needs. Characters, like him and Mark Allen as the "bad boy".
Yep. That is why Sport is the biggest thing in the World.
Some good play here from White, comfortable pots, looking good so far. Impressive.
Snooker is growing in a lot of other countries, it's interesting to see what will happen with the game in the future. It's not what it was in this country a few decades ago but it's getting bigger all the time elsewhere.
One thing I don't agree with about the sport growing is the possibility of changing the World Championship to China.
I know snooker is big and getting bigger over there but that surely can never happen.
Glad it is as well. A Sport that is more mental and tactical than others which is why I prefer this to Sports like Rugby and the more physical Sports bar Football and Tennis really. It's a lovely and an enjoyable game and I'm glad it's in the growing category.
That could be costly from Poomjaeng. Maybe should have tried the Snooker? Difficult technique and a tough shot but if it came off, would have been vital.
Researchers and Demographers and predicting and almost concluding that China will take over the USA and UK by 2050 and will be the World's Richest Country. Wouldn't be a surprise to see more Chinese players out of the blocks and it isn't surprising that it could be happening RKW.
The World Championship should stay as it is for me too, so many more ranking events in China nowadays though and I can only see that trend continuing as the interest is so big there and that's where the money is coming from.
I'm all for more ranking events and what Barry Hearn in doing for the game.
But I'm glad they turned down changing it from Sheffield earlier and I hope they don't do it at all in the future.
But I do still believe that it should stay as it is. Like I said though, wouldn't surprise me if China do take over.
Anyway, 4-1, White looking comfortable, be back in 5 minutes.
If we get a few more recognisable players from different parts of the world then the game could really take off globally, it may take a few years but would be great for the game.
Think they were saying earlier this week why there aren't that many players from China breaking through to the latter stages of the major tournaments.
Meanwhile in this game, Michael White is looking very good.
Going to be 5-1 very soon. Can see White wrapping up this game 10-2 and comfortably through the 3rd round.
It's best of 25 frames now LRF so first to 13 wins. Over three session as well.
Two left to play tonight.
Damn! Didn't realise that. 13-3 then.
Poomjaeng sure is entertaining but in fairness is a poor player. Haven't seen anyone at the Crucival play a foul and complete miss any of the balls in quite some time.
woah, missed that shot by a mile
For as poor as Poomjaeng may have been tonight, Michael White has been very good. Deserves to be at least 6-2 up after these final two frames this evening.
Come on Jack
This is too easy for Michael White

Good man Loyaulte Me Lie (U11544) - Yeah, but that was 20 years ago
Mind you, having said that, I've hit them about half a dozen times, 3 hours at a time, the past 2 weeks as I've entered the Irish Over 40's Championships which is taken place this coming Sunday. I'm gonna hit them for another 2 hours today, hopefully 3 hours tomorrow (Saturday) which should give me plenty to draw on come Sunday.
