He's a good player Bingham and don't see why he can't go far in this year's championship.

Selby through without getting out of second gear. Would love him to finally win it this year and get the treble. Also enjoy watching mark davis atm would like to see him do well.

Who was the last player to win the Triple Crown?

Shame no century but at least it won't look as bad now as 10-0!

Not sure mate, only 3 players have done it i think.

It was Mark Williams exactly 10 years ago, the 2002/03 season.

Mark Selby would be the worst player in history to win the triple crown in my opinion. 3 great players have achieved it and a further 2 great players haven't quiet managed it so it would be a joke if he pulled it off. He is so irritating and he got so much luck in some frames and he doesn't even apologise when he flukes a pot or flukes a snooker.

I'm not so sure whether players should or shouldn't apologise for flukes. After all, they are part of the game.

The majority seem to do though so might just be personal preference whether you do apologise or not.

Bingham looking good to make this 8-1 before tomorrow's session, in total control and heading for the second round.

Final first round matches today with Robbo leading 5-4 against Milkins and Bingham seemingly cruising to victory against Baird.

The second round also gets under way this afternoon, with Murphy v Dott then White v Poomjaeng later this evening.

Thoughts & predictions?

If things go Stuart Bingham's way, both White v Poomjaeng will have the arena to themselves for most of the evening of their first session. That should up the tension a couple of notches.......
I think Robbo will pull away from Robert Milkins & Shaun Murphy should edge the first session against Graeme Dott.

I bet Dott will just be pleased to be playing someone who plays a bit quicker than Ebdon

Really entertaining stuff between Robertson and Milkins so far.

what score is the robertson match now?

posted on 25/4/13

Robbo is 8-7 down now but is in first in the 16t frame. As RKW has said above, very entertaining.

cheers! Need robbo to complete accumulator i had on 5 big fav's, only 6/5, but still a nice win. Think he'll have enough to get over the line still.

8-8 but Milkins in total command of this frame, Robbo is definitely in trouble.
