DJ, I read the threads throughout, the rows were thick and fast as ever.
And bute, let's not kid ourselves that you make the comments you do without the aim of riling a few posters.
All this higher level nonsense, if mick was here etc etc......most of the time it has no relevance to the thread at hand.
The rows died to next to nothing while you were away.
Rubbish comments by cinci
Ward would never have been a professional if he had been scouted as a left back - just plain stupid thing to say about someone who has played over 150 games under a variety of managers in the top two divisions and been an international under different managers
The majority of Brighton fans think Ward is useless - firstly I am certain they don't, secondly you haven't the faintest idea what the majority of Brighton fans think
The majority of Ipswich fans want Stearman instead of Berra - cant believe they do but again you haven't got the faintest idea what the majority of Ipswich fans think
Why knock Siggy when he hasn't put a foot wrong - what measure of a player is it to say he hasn't done anything wrong when he hasn't done anything at all. I could play for Barcelona and do nothing wrong
All of these comments are just complete garbage intended to try to provoke an argument. Pay me for my time and I will list 100 more
So now we have a thread of 100 posts most of which are away from topic and an argument about stupid comments from you that you disowned 24 hours later and where a good number of people have expressed their disagreement with things you portrayed as facts not opinions, but still you try to put the blame on me and deny you either provoke, prolong or are the main protagonist of any arguments on the forum.
No DJ, most comments here are abusive nonsense from you, not from me.
And as I said DJ, the rows didn't subside at all, it was the same old same old.
And to suggest a footballer would not be scouted as a left back is my opinion, he isn't a great left back and it is incredibly hard to get scouted in the first place, I suspect he would have been overlooked.
Siggy was getting ridiculous stick early in the season despite good contributions, he has since fallen away.
Ipswich fans did want stearman ahead of Berra, that is not make believe, they wanted him because they liked what they saw last season. Quite obvious I would say.
And early in wards time at Brighton they were far from impressed, i posted the comments, so again, no fabrication at all.
Keep em coming
So Cinci can knock players, but we can't give an opposing view, for fear of antagonising him
And don't mention players and ex managers who are operating at a higher level, as that also antagonises him
I think that you are missing some of DJ's points in the extreme stances that you take, Cinci.
E.G. Ipswich fans wanted Stearman ahead of Berra. Very hard to prove and probably untrue. If you had said some Ipswich fans wanted Stearman ahead of Berra, then almost certainly true and hardly antagonistic.
Similarly, early in Ward's time at Brighton, they were far from impressed. Who was far from impressed? Again, if you had said some fans were far from impressed, then no argument.
You always seem to take an extreme view which you arrogantly put forward as an incontrovertible truth.
No problems with anyone knocking players, its a forum where you air your views and concerns about the club.
Bute, we have had posters like gem and halfy tell you to knock it on the head, complete neutrals, that tells you something.
A bit of reminiscing is fine, but to be on it minutes after a poor draw or a win for Ipswich is pointless and you do it to get a rise.
No comment is meant as literal, that doesn't even need explaining, you shouldn't have to make every post with the mindset that you have to excuse discrepancies.
This forum isn't here "to knock players". I think that may be where you're going wrong.
I also rarely mention Mick etc unles it's on context, or responding to your mentioning players from the past who have now gone to higher levels, who I stick up for. Purely my views.
"Purely my views."
A very wise remark Bute. But the problem with DJ is, he cannot accept the fact that we all have different opinions on matters relating to our club, managers and players. If he disagrees with me or anyone else, he calls it rubbish. and we don't know what we're talking about.
I'm surprised others can't see it, or maybe they do and don't want to be dragged into the constant bickering on here.
I guarantee that if he left the site for a couple of weeks, then this forum would settle down into reasonable, constructive, friendly banter.
When cinci left he still had digs at what Perton and I put up on here. Unfortunately he'll never change.
People have seen it Wolfie, remember when Mazi turned up back in the summer with a thread, and several posters popped up questioning why you and i continued to get the stick we got?
Cyp, why is it you can pull cinci up for stating the comments he did and suggesting that he should use words like "some"
Yet DJ can get away with stating that we WILL get promoted this season. Is that not arrogance? We all hope we do go up, but there have been a few who think it's our divine right to do it.
What's the difference? Is he immune from criticism from the likes of you and others?
Who's the one that's used the word "idiot" recently?
Oh so the reason you wanted me to find these examples was because you wanted to have an argument on another subject. What a shock, And yes the usual smiley at the end, why? Because that's what you love about 606 arguing. Keep em coming. You absolutely love it. But if someone comes on and say we need to stop the arguments on here. Oh yes quite agree, its not my fault. I bet you have an erection when people respond?
The majority of Brighton fans think - convince me that you know what the majority think
The majority of Ipswich fans think - convince me that you know what the majority think
Siggy didn't put a foot wrong - so your definition of someone worth their place is not that they do anything of value its that they do nothing wrong
Keep arguing cinci. You are a liability to this forum along with your florida buddy. But anyone that has any doubts about your motivations for coming on here has only to look at this thread.
Incidently Cyp, and not meaning to go on as i have had enough of this shíte to be honest.
But i never said ''all'' or ''every'' either, so why is it assumed i mean the extreme despite not saying so?
You don't need to answer by the way, just making the comment
I did cinci and we'll continue to get it, I'm afraid.
Maybe it's better to views things from afar and not be so deeply involved in our club, living so close to it. Blinkered vision, I'd call it.
Thats right DJ, i clearly just love a row, but it appears that from this thread you just love to insult people.
No harm with healthy debate, but insults kind of show a person up for what he really is.
Poor wolfie and cinci - the only reason they get criticised is because they are from USA. Nothing to do with the comments and the attitude they bring to the site. No that would be too much of a home truth
Why wolfie do you criticise people for not slating me. Why don't you ask why they do slate you and cinci. Could it possibly be the fault of you two? Whatever the reason is, the answer is in the mirror. Take a look see who you see

Blah, blah, blah..................."Keep arguing cinci. You are a liability to this forum along with your florida buddy. But anyone that has any doubts about your motivations for coming on here has only to look at this thread."

I REST MY CASE. If posters on 'ere can't fathom out who causes the trouble, then I'm really lost for words.
DJ, go take a vacation and come back in a couple of weeks, or grow up. By the way Florida has a capital 'F'. Have one of these
Oh, by the way DJ. What about your smilies?
DJ, they don't "slate" us at all. We get the comical stuff from Bute and Cyp. But most of the others are probably fed up with all this carp, as Wulfrunnut and others have put up recently.
Off to watch West Ham v Man City. Go pick up your toys from the corner DJ.
Sorry, I appear to have stumbled on to Mothercare's forum by mistake.
We get the comical stuff from Bute...
Here we go again. If people dislike you Wolfie, its because they remember your poisonous stance while Wolves were competing in the Prem. It was the last thing the fans wanted at the time, but you were stubborn and kept your stance. That's your prerogative.
What poisonous stance Bute? I was glad we got promoted, but when I watched the dreadful football we produced from about the second season onwards, it gave good cause to point certain things out. Trouble was, you and others didn't agree with me, or the inevitable outcome.
By the way, how can you dislike a person you haven't met? Strange that.
Bute comment is exactly what I am talking about.
How often do we read something like 'Wolfie keeps his distance now, understandable given the damage he caused' or 'I understand why Wolfie is ashamed by his part in kicks removal' and so on and so on, of course, not in any way antagonistic though.
