I'd rather Malcom myself. There are options on the market though which is good.

Think Kent may be staying isn't he?

Players do lose form though and you have to play them into form really. It's tricky.

Having a mint player from the bench would be great though. Wilson still with us as well.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ability to mix it up is always good.

Sessegnon more likely to play a lesser role than somebody like Werner / Dembele too.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ziyech is the one i'd quite like. Exceptional season last year and at his peak now. Quite versatile, could rotate with the front three and would generally fit the system quite well imo.

Available for £25m supposedly, which we could fund with the sales of deadwood like Camacho, Awoniyi, Kent etc.

Seems a bit of a no brainer to me. Surprised big clubs haven't shown much interest so far.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We’ve already made that £25m with what we’ve sold in Ings & Camacho.

Sessegnon could actually be the perfect signing given the two positions we need to improve most are left back and left wing cover, and he would provide both. Wouldn't start much but would enable us to sub and rest key players for the bigger games.

Doubt we're in for him though.

We either need a top class player to come on, or you are relying on potential,

I would say id prefer origi to come on ahead of sessegnon, potentially wilson too, perhaps kent, i would need to see more of him.

Thats why i think he would be wasted here currently, and a transfer to loan him out would give us a year to take stock of our options
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Transfer to loan out makes a lot of sense.

Origi and Sessegnon are nothing alike. Wilson is a good shout but Kent I've not seen enough to make me think he is good enough for the first team squad.

Good start for Bruce

Sessegon has stated he wants to stay in London hasn’t he?

He’s nailed on for the pidgeon fanciers.

Ziyech will be a good option for us. Can cover out wide and be that creative passer we need in the middle. While he can be a goal scorer, he takes some unnecessary pot shots from some ridiculous positions on the pitch. I've always liked him as a player though and he'll also come in knowing that he won't be first choice.

He's like a diet Coutinho basically.

Seems that Everton fella is off to Arsenal. Looked really good at the Copa. Could've been a nice option for us.

Can’t wait till he scores against Everton!

Would only have worked if he played for us.

guessing he'll use his other name? Soares is it?

posted on 17/7/19

looked alright, very positive, stays wide and attacks players. Very one footed and end products not the best, not sure how he'll do defensively or with the massive step up in quality of leagues etc. Should be an entertaining player to watch atleast.

Interesting read. The Echo reckons we have already received £137m of the £142m owed for Coutinho. Not bad.

I get the feeling that link to us is just his agent trying to drum up some interest so as he doesn't end up at PSG wasting the end of his career in some 2nd rate league

hmm i dont think it means we've actually received the whole lot, more that its guaranteed they have to pay us that amount, transfers are normally over 3 instalments i believe (unless we insisted on a shorter time)
