Grav is very underrated even on this board despite winning Young Player of the Season ahead of Baleba and being arguably our most important midfielder in a title winning season.

I’m never applying for another job again.
Finally got official job offer and contract four months after doing first interview and two months after my employment ended. Been hell.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sounds rough mate.
I'm going through a process atm; today is the 3rd round and Monday will be the 4th (and last) stage - 2.5 hrs on Monday.
It's all fine if I get offered the job but going through 4 stages for a thanks but no thanks would be pretty gutting!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
4 stages how many hours in total? Also any presentations/exercises/assessments on top of that?

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Four months ago today I did the first interview. Second interview the following week and by the end of the week offered the job and asked to sent in photo and complete documentation.
Handed in my notice as I had a ten week notice period and wanted to try negotiate it down to enable me to get started in the new role the following month. Gave new job six weeks and they accepted, since I was due to go on holiday at the end of those six weeks anyhow.
Several weeks later HR contact me to say the role is being opened up to applications again due to restructuring in the department. Went on holiday having left my previous role and no new role to start when I returned.
HR started directing me towards another role. Applied, interviewed and got rejected.
Four weeks later my wife ran into one of the interviewers for the initial role by chance and asked her what was going on. She states that the hiring manager wanted me but when sent to his boss in the US they wanted him to continue interviewing as they wanted somebody with exact experience and skill set. This is possible in the US of course with so many banks and people but here extremely unlikely.
So I thought that was that, I’ll be unemployed for the foreseeable future and pressure began mounting in regards to mortgage etc.
Received a phone call a week later stating a decision would be made next week and she wanted to put me forward for another role. I thought that was a negative. She hadn’t put me forward for the role which meant I began to feel confident in regards to the initial role since the first time I was offered it. Got the verbal offer yesterday and written contract today.

Sounds rough mate.
I'm going through a process atm; today is the 3rd round and Monday will be the 4th (and last) stage - 2.5 hrs on Monday.
It's all fine if I get offered the job but going through 4 stages for a thanks but no thanks would be pretty gutting!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
4 stageshow many hours in total? Also any presentations/exercises/assessments on top of that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Each round to date has been (or will be) 1 hr and then 2.5 on Monday = 5.5hr total.
I don't mind that so much, it's the prep time you need to put into each round that gets me - I must have spent at least triple that time on prep.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s too much prep, not fair on the candidate, and just not a good look from the employer.
5.5 hours interview time fackin amateurs.

I once went through similar, 4 stage process for a job at KPMG, ended up accepting something else after one interview. Glad I did too as very happy in the one I chose.

Yeah I've aged five years in four months.

Went on holiday, couldn't enjoy it, even had to do an interview whilst there. Obviously being unemployed was the worst part. First time in my life. Last time hopefully also.

Having never seen him play, I’m declaring him as the second coming of Baresi.

Leoni appears to like playing against physical forwards, that's good.
Also, Bajcetic back at AXA and I'm sure a few of you will be pleased to know he's tonked-up a little

Also I am awful at interviews. I can sit in a meeting with directors around the table and reel off all sorts of opinions and information. Put me in an interview and it doesn’t matter how much preparation I’ve put in, my mind goes blank.
However for the first time in my life I gave a great interview. Perhaps as it was the first time I wanted a role so much due to how much it aligns with my interests.

Just imagine the interviewer naked
