Their problem at the moment is they're basically just copying Reform's policies.

Reform say they'll change ILR to deport people already here, Badenoch announces they'll deport 750,000 people. Reform want to roll back climate change pledges, Badenoch announces they'll repeal the climate change act. They both want to leave the ECHR, both have pledged massive spending cuts.

I don't like Reform but if you subscribe to those policies why would you pick the party that failed to address any of that whilst in power for 14 years? You'll just pick Reform.

Aren't Labour doing similar to a certain extent.

After Reform announce changes to ILR Shabana comes out with revised conditions for gaining indefinite leave including making a certain level of National Insurance contributions, not taking any benefits payments, learning English to a high standard, and giving back to the community.
