Hugo, what sustainable level of success mate ? We haven't won anything for 10 f*** years Jesus mate, ain't us supporters allowed to vent our frustrations when we see our team/club bottle it on the big stage time and time again? We don't even look remotely close to winning anything either because every time we get to the crunch, we buckle under pressure all the time. It's been 4 years this project now and it's about time this team delivered. Sick to death of all these excuses all the time.

What garbage
Who cares about bragging, i want to enjoy my team win something, thats your memory's as a fan
And if you dont win anything how can you use the word success
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hmmm, can't help but sort of agree with this
It's amazing, some Spurs fans think "success" is getting in the top 4 every now and then. No wonder our club are such a laughing stock at times. We have bevime so used to not winning anything, that our own supporters just accept it as normal.

Of course getting top 4 is a success. Without it we wouldn’t be able to keep the likes of Eriksen, Kane and dele and wouldn’t be able to buy the like of moura.
It’s huge for us as a club to keep growing especially with a £700m stadium we are building.
Obviously everyone including the players and manager want trophies too but just because you fail in that doesn’t automatically make your season a failure

Personally I think people totally mis understand Poch on cups. Think many buy it to media headlines.
You can tell by his goal celebration and his attitude after the game he wants to win it imo
He just doesn’t think it will push us up as a club on to the world stage quicker. Personally he should’ve just not kept that to himself and been more media savvy.
End of the day in my view poch is fantastic for us as a club and if we want to continue building to hopefully win trophies we need to keep him, keep CL football but most of all Levy needs to back him.

Agree with that to. No problem with Poch whatsoever, although I did think he got it wrong with playing Vorm. We probably would of bottled it anyway even with Lloris, but it's the players I'm more annoyed with. Give it the big one in the media all the time beforehand, but fail to deliver when the going gets tough.

There is no fan that doesn't want to win a trophy but look at Leicester, they won the league and will probably finish mid-table for the foreseeable future.
If you gave me that option or what Spurs currently have and are doing then i'm Spurs all the way. For me it's about the overall health, style and direction of the club.
First of all, the main thing is enjoying your club's football and it's arguably the best it's been. At least over the last 10-15 years because that's what you see week in week out. I don't want to endure 20 years of what we had before Pochettino even if it meant a trophy in there somewhere.
Top four is a gateway to fast-forwarding our development. £10s of millions more revenue and exposure to fans globally. These matter and help us build a stadium (which for me is like a trophy itself in achievement terms). It in turn also helps us attract and keep the best players. We've done well to keep a strong core.
This overall improvement is sustained success. I want us to win too and it's not nice losing but there's more variables then "win trophy". If we had some heavy backing like City, Chelsea and United then damn right it's trophy or failure because resources are there every single year .
Look at Arsenal. They've won the FA Cup X number of times over the last 5 years and people still want Arsene out. I guarantee that will happen the same with us.
Pochettino has room for improvement but some of the criticism is over the top and unjust. Suggesting he is overrated or some even saying Levy will look to sack him if he doesn't win next two years - absolute joke opinions.
The club:
Let’s try and build the club to be one of the top clubs in the country, and then hopefully Europe. We want to be able to compete with the best.
Some of our fans:
No. Let’s keep finishing in mid-table, but with a cup thrown in once a decade.
Yes Poch is overrated absoloutely by the media and fans alike. It is always about what he will do,tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow. The fact remains he has won nothing in his career but keeps talking like he will do. If that is someone you work with you would soon get bored of them saying it day in day out.
I love him but we may of hit the glass ceiling with him now.
The facts are we had the best right back in the league, the best centre back arguably in europe and Harry Kane and have won nothing.
We are not punching above our weight, neither are we underperforming.
We are a clear top six side that will not change if we change managers we should not be scared of that.
I do not want to change managers at all, i love poch but if we finish the season with a wimper against bang average sides the old bielsa burnout something has to change.
We also have to consider now we are losing youth team products because of Poch and there is no pathway to the first team that should be a huge concern.
Interestingly i think Arsenal will slip well out of things now without wenger. Whereas if we lost Poch we would still compete in my opinion.
I really can't take much of what you say seriously LLM. You were fully against Pochettino managing us and had several comments that were negative towards him. And you're wrong again with that post.

Agreed. Also, Bielsa Burnout?? Pretty sure we won more points than any other team in the second half of both of the last two seasons, and this season have only lost once in the league since mid December. That's not even a thing, just a lazy stick to beat him with.
There are some fans that didn't want Poch, then wanted him out early on. Then, sheepishly got on the bandwagon when the rapid progress started happening. And now, despite our continued good position, using the first sign of bother (failure to win a domestic cup) as leverage to push him out. We as fans should be on a united front as we close the doors on wembley and go home to WHL. We're straring down the barrel of CL football in our new 62,000 seater stadium - apparently that's not good enough for some, only the league cup will do

You can't argue with idiots. Short-termism is endemic in every aspect of modern life. Football is no exception.

this is standard spurs.... remember back when all our players kept yapping that we were better than arsenal, and kept losing out to them in the league?

I will repeat what I keep harping on about on here until I'm blue in the face. Until Spurs go out ( Bald c** Levy) And backs pochettino with a world class signing , someone of high quality that will change the dynamics at Spurs, we are forever going to be nearly men that win f** all. Unfortunately the club don't operate that way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
oh look. don is on levys back again. I suppose that you wont have any interest in going to the brand new massive state of the art, probably best in the world, stadium that he has built us next season then don?
get off his back for fack sake the club have made huge strides forward under his leadership, and he has made significant money available to Poch in his time here! (sanchez for 40 mill last summer is a good example)
